Too many people have reported this homeless stockpile under the freeway without Public Works doing anything. This is across the street from a little kid park. There is tons of stuff just being stored here by homeless. This is illegal and also, all of the stuff and shopping carts was obtained illegally. The carts are technically stolen property. Clear this area as soon as possible.
We finally got the unlicensed camper van to leave the cul-de-sac at Hudson and Miles, but they left us this parting gift of a container full of an unknown liquid (looks like human urine). Can you please remove this from the corner of Hudson Street and Miles. This is right across the street from DanSpace where kids go for dance lessons.
The homeless couple living on this land is back with trash strewn throughout the area. Multiple carts from local grocery stores and a meaningful amount of trash and debris. Can we organize homes for these people? Kids routinely ride their skateboards and learn how to ride bikes in the BART parking lot adjacent to where this couple is living. This is not a safe environment for people to be living in.
Claremont At Hudson Oakland, California - Rockridge
The large homeless encampment underneath highway /4 on Claremont has gotten so big that pedestrians can no longer pass in the sidewalk without going into the street. This is unsafe given the four lanes of traffic. It’s also highly travelled by small children going to the playground across the street
The corner of Forest and Ayala is a heavily trafficked intersection but with no stop sign on either street. User at least one near accident a week. A stop sign needs to be installed on Forest, possibly also on Ayala.
5439 Claremont Ave Oakland 94618, United States - Shafter
Encampment growing larger, debris and junk everywhere blocking the sidewalk so disabled cannot get through. They are attaching things to the historic mural and ruining it. They have refused shelter from the city, they have no right to block this area, time to get them out.
