281 Myrtle Avenue Bridgeport, CT - Bridgeport
Constituent of 281 Myrtle Ave called to report major flooding. There is a catch basin on the corner facing Myrtle Ave and a catch basin facing Atlantic St. She removed anything that was on top of the catch basins but it seems to be an internal problem and water is not going down. She is very concerned because of it possibly freezing over and it is a major safety hazard because there is a crosswalk there where children walk to school.

Please please please can we get a trash and recycling pickup? With everyone home and stupid people using dumpster for gardening we cannot make it until Friday at The Anchorage! Can we please also get additional recycling bins? Ours fill up within days of being emptied and it’s exacerbated by everyone staying home.

25 MPH Speed Limit sign came down in one of our crazy wind storms late last year. The remaining post is rusty and dangerous and directly in the path of pedestrians walking to the bus stop and dog walkers in the park. It is currently covered with an orange cone and located directly across from our electrical box/middle pole at 850 Atlantic Street, about 60-70 feet before the bus stop ramp.
