  • 8 Ealing Ln Oakland, CA 94608, USA - Clawson
A new large illegal encampment structure made of highly flammable plywood and plastic sheeting has been under construction yesterday and today in the same sidewalk-blocking location on the south side of 28th Street as a similar structure that burned to the ground on 1/19/2018. That fire endangered adjacent homes and businesses and required considerable city cleanup and decontamination. The structure is also incorporating other dumped materials like the filing cabinet that the city has failed to remove. The city must act immediately to remove this imminent fire hazard.

This is VW Passat silver 4 door. It has been in the same place since at least the start of the year. It has multiple tickets for failing to move for street sweeping. It has flat tires and has been abandoned.
  • 3529-3547 Peralta St Oakland, CA 94608, USA - Clawson
Sidewalk caught fire from tents and trash from the fire is strewn about. There is about a fire a month and the city still allows the situation to remain.

There is an Homeless Encampment in Fitzgerald Park again alone with drugs transactions/activity taking place again. Plus loud music throughout the day, evening and night. There is signage posted that the park should be vacated after 10:00. This is truly unfair to the residents who are trying to live normal lives. I can understand accommodating the homeless but to have to put up with drug activity, which seemly this encampment has brought to us over night.
  • 3356–3398 Linden St Oakland 94608, United States - Clawson
Motorhome that has been here for months is sitting at the corner of 34th and San Pablo with all kinds of garbage and debris and blocking the lanes

6 bikes, trash cans, recycle bins, do not enter sign, orange cones, tent and a bunch of trash and a east bay mud sign. It is in the street and taking up parking spaces. In front of sparc-it place there is a pile of trash. I think there is 1 person who is doing this and I think he is collecting. This has gone on for 3 years

The encampment that was in the grassy space at Fitzgerald Park that was evicted YESTERDAY by the Oakland PD has now taken up residence on the two picnic tables directly across the street at the Fitzgerald Community Garden. 8 men camped overnight yelling all night and blocking the garden gate. The police PROMISED yesterday that they were clearing this encampment all the way south to 32nd street. They did no such thing. This is NOT acceptable.

I have been a resident in this area for over 10 years and when Alliances Metal was in operation there was an Homeless Encampment in Fitzgerald Park, located at 34th Street and Peralta in West Oakland. We as a community complain about this situation, because they were selling drugs and we were finding needles throughout the Park. The city had them move from this location. Now their back and still selling and using drugs, loud music throughout the day and night, arguments which awakens us out of our sleep and the drive up of vehicles selling drugs within the Park. I have a compassion for people who are trying to get on their feet, but what I am seeing is selling of drugs and the park is being used for that convenience.
