Contractor has allowed sand to fill the street.
  • 304 Wildwood Ann Arbor, Michigan - Ann Arbor
Vegetation on lawn and lawn extension overgrown and blocking public sidewalk. The yard is an eyesore.
  • 500-504 Hiscock Street Ann Arbor, Michigan - Ann Arbor

This intersection, with no stop signs in the North/South directions, desperately either needs signage on the East/West stop signs indicating that oncoming traffic does not stop or stop signs in the North/South direction.

There are way too many close calls.

A Pedestrian CROSSWALK is desperately needed on Stadium between Packard and Industrial. The best place would be at the north side of Frisinger Park. People cross there all the time to go to the park or Lucky's, to commute between home and schools, including a large day care and an elementary school.
On Stadium between Packard and Brockman, there are TWO crosswalks WITH lights; yet there are none to the east of Packard until you get to the Michigan Stadium.
PLEASE add a cross walk to make our area more family and pedestrian friendly!

Installing major mid-block pedestrian crossing(s) along Jackson Ave. (between Dexter Ave split and N.Maple Road) needs to be a priority. This stretch of road is just downright dangerous for pedestrians trying to reach the other splits the west side of Ann Arbor into two with no safe way for pedestrians (especially those with children) to cross.

The poorly lit crosswalk across Washtenaw near Thayer Street where the student was just hit by a car will continue to be a problem until there is better lighting/visibility of the people entering the crosswalk at night. I feel badly in not emailing earlier as my wife and I have both felt this to be a problem. Though there are streetlights nearby, it is difficult to see people entering the crosswalk at night, especially entering from the north side. It is extraordinarily difficult when one is facing the glare of 2 lanes of oncoming traffic, exacerbated by any reflected glare of wet streets! My suggestion is to put an overhead light the length of the crosswalk identical to the one over the crosswalk on Geddes entering Gallup Park. It will make pedestrians clearly visible, draw attention to the crosswalk itself, and perhaps be less expensive (?) and less disruptive to a busy thoroughfare like Washtenaw while improving pedestrian safety. Thank you for your time.

987 Broadway Street Ann Arbor, Michigan - Ann Arbor

On the Broadway bridge there are metal reinforcements every 10 yards or so that have not been coated with a slip-proof coating. When there was light show a couple weeks ago, I couldn't see these reinforcements but they were extremely slippery and I nearly fell down when I stepped on one.

I've seen the same type of metal reinforcements on the bridge on Fuller road over the railroad tracks, and they are coated with something that makes them less slippery. Please apply this coating to the ones on the Broadway bridge.

    Thank you,

Please reinstate the right turning lane at the corner of 7th and stadium in the northbound lane of 7th st. This is causing terrible traffic backups and is unsafe for bikers.
  • 213 W. Kingsley Street Ann Arbor Michigan - Ann Arbor

The painting crew at 213 West Kingsley Street condo project has paint that is dumping into the street headed to the storm outlet.

Also, they're working on a Sunday and I thought the ordinance did not allow for construction work on Sundays.

The crosswalks along Main Street between Hill and stadium need better management. It's a wide road and it's quite hard to get traffic to stop for pedestrians. Many of the crosswalks would benefit from signage and hawk lights.
