Notified About

  • Creekside Village Blvd & Marley Neck Blvd Glen Burnie, MD, 21060, USA - Anne Arundel County, MD

I am writing this letter as a resident of Creekside Village to bring to your attention a very serious situation. At the intersection of Creekside Village Blvd & Marley Neck Blvd, the number of accidents or near accidents have risen to alarming levels.

The entrances & exits of Creekside Village have become a severe danger to the safety of both drivers and residents in this community. Daily, we witness near accidents that could potentially claim the life of our residents. It is apparent that the problem lies with a lack of a traffic light and speeding vehicles on Marley Neck Blvd.

In order to circumvent future injuries and fatalities, I am requesting that a traffic light be installed at the intersection of Marley Neck Blvd & Creekside Village Blvd. As you can appreciate, I’m very anxious to see this dealt with quickly.

I hope that my message will be heard and that the severity of this situation will be recognized by your department. Thank you for looking into this matter. I remain hopeful of your timely and positive response.

  • 7823 Outing Ave Pasadena, MD, 21122, USA - Green Haven
Water drainage from the house located on the corner of Outing Avenue and 207th streets poses a hazardous condition when temperatures are at or below freezing. An icy patch covers the intersection. A school bus picks up children on that corner and cars traveling on either 207th or on Outing Avenue could slide on the ice. Especially cars that are not aware of the condition until they come to that intersection. This is hazardous for both the children waiting for the school bus and vehicles that travel through this intersection.
  • 8204 White Star Crossing Pasadena, MD 21122, USA - Pasadena
it's 12:11am 2/4 and there's very loud banging noises coming from the BJs parking lot. It sounds like the dumpster is being emptied. It is very loud and has awaken my entire household.
  • 877 Shore Acres Rd Arnold, MD 21012, USA - Arnold
There is still an ongoing drainage problem coming from the property located at 876 Shore Acres Road. They are discharging sump or stormwater from the side of their property into the right-of-way, causing extremely icy conditions along Shore Acres Road on a very steep hill. This condition is causing dangerous situations for drivers going up and down that hill and unfortunately, there is only one way out of the neighborhood for those who live past the split, so there is no way around this dangerous situation. Several neighbors have filed complaints for several years. but the condition still exists. We need the County to intervene and resolve this issue since it affects the public right-of-way.
  • 7726 Hartwell Road Glen Burnie, Maryland - Glen Burnie
We have an infestation of gnats in our home. Because of this, we had an exterminator come by and he said its because of the large unkempt swampy area (open space) behind our home. The sewage area is not maintained and hasn't been cut in months. He mentioned that all of the neighbors along Hartwell Road will experience this discomfort until the problem is fixed and the area is maintained on a regular basis. Therefore, its pointless for us to pay for treatment because it will be a temporary fix when there is a much bigger problem that needs to be addressed.
  • 594 Stewart Avenue Glen Burnie, MD 21061, United States of America - Glen Burnie
Wondering what is taking so long on the paving of Stewart road? Those guys have been out there for over a month and now they come for a few hours if they come at all. The roads are all tore up with mounds in the middle all over. When will this be complete. This is ridiculous.
  • 203 Evergreen Rd Severna Park, MD, 21146, USA - Severna Park
Our neighbor took down our fence on my property. What would be the next steps to file a complaint? Would we have to take her to civil court? She took it down the day after we signed on our house
  • 300–348 Town Center Blvd Odenton 21113, United States - Odenton
Need to have left turn arrow signals at this intersection. It is very dangerous for cars to turn onto 175 from Town Center Blvd. There is so much traffic coming from the MARC train parking lot that often, cars are unable to turn left towards Odenton and do not get through the intersection at all.
  • 875 Shore Acres Rd Arnold, MD, 21012, USA - Arnold
Water coming from 875 shore acres road is flowing on to roadway. Icy conditions could occur.
  • 7822 Outing Ave Pasadena 21122, United States - Green Haven
Looks like sump pump draining into sidewalk and road. Has made road icy for cars and sidewalk icy for kids walking to George Fox Middle School.
  • 330 Argus Lane Glen Burnie, Maryland - South Gate

It is my understanding that this path and gate is on county land and has been used to get from Southgate toward OMMN, OMMS, and OMHS for decades. The new residents at 330 Argus Lane have chained that gate shut. As a result, our children’s walk distance is nearly doubled.

To be prepared if the residents are confrontational, I would like to avoid an incident. Please let me know where I could confirm that this path is indeed on county property and that the resident would not be proper to chain the gates. If that is not the case, I would raise that the path has been commonly used for this purpose by the community since the 1990s at least.

Thank you for any information or assistance you can provide.
