I take my dog to Glover park to play fetch, and there have been vagrants/ people sleeping and leaving trash on the wooden stage area next to the park.

Midtown installed electrical outlets that vagrants now use to charge their phones while they sleep and leave trash there, but no water fountain for the dog park?

A few weeks ago one individual approached another individual and the situation escalated enough to where I had to leave the park with my dog.

Pick up the trash, take away the electrical outlets to discourage people from sleeping there., put a water fountain at the dog park instead.

  • 4407 San Jacinto Street Houston, TX 77004, United States of America - Midtown
After clearing 'tent city' under 59 at Caroline, many persons have remained on the street in the area. There are large crowds at the corner of San Jacinto and Blodgett where we need to pass through and turn left to access highway 59. These persons are panhandling, knocking on my car window and right by our cars sitting on the sidewalk there are drugs being sold and drugs being consumed. There have already been shootings in the area due to the drug dealing and this is a very unsafe and frightening situation. There are persons camped for 2 blocks under 59 on San Jacinto at Blodgett . Their quilts and clothing are spilling out into the street.
Please assist these persons in relocating to safe, warm shelters immediately. Thank you

  • 3301–3399 Crawford St Houston 77004, United States - Midtown
URGENT: There are numerous vagrants and homeless people setting up camp in this disgusting abandoned building, which is one stray cigarette away from becoming a fire hazard. Police have been called several times due to theft of patio furniture from neighboring homes. These buildings are a disgrace to midtown and the owner (I believe it is bank owned since the builders presumably ran out of money to finish) need to be held accountable. ACTION NEEDED SOON!!!

I work in a building nearby and for weeks have watched the homeless gather in a bigger group and continue to throw garbage over a fence in a parking lot that is being worked on and all over the ground on the sidewalk. it smells horrible and women are scared to park there and not to mention I refuse to pay to park there not knowing if my vehicle will be damaged, it stinks, and garbage is ridiculous and the safety issue if anything I wouldn't park there if it was free either. parking is already hard to come by. and the site is just really bad and there are garbage cans on the corner so really there is no excuse on why they are not throwing it away other than they get away with it and the police just drive by. Last year the police would make them clean their area and keep them from trashing and sleeping on the sidewalk. something needs to be done. there have been numerous muggings in the area as well a couple woman from my company being victims. Not to mention the city has offices in my building and can see this mess as well. so why hasn't anyone done anything yet????? HMMMMM
