Hi, thank you very much for being so quick about clearing the area around the abandoned house, but the rest of the street still has kudzu growing across it. Perhaps I am not understanding to whom the responsibility belongs, but is it not the city's responsibility to ensure that the roads are clear and unobstructed by vegetation?

As I said previously, there is a definite visibility issue with the kudzu on the corner of Garden Street and Main Street. If one is making a right turn from Garden Street onto Main Street, the vegetation makes it impossible to see oncoming traffic unless you pull out into the road. It is very dangerous and certainly a liability issue for the city.

Would it be possible to send a detail to clear the whole (very short) street of the offending vegetation? In addition to being unsightly, it contributes to the appearance of "blight" in a neighborhood that several philanthropic groups are attempting to improve. I own the house on the corner of Garden and Church Street and I am making every attempt to make sure my house is an asset to the neighborhood, not a contribution to blight in the oldest neighborhood in Macon.

    Thank you for your assistance.

Again, I appreciate what was done, but I am requesting that the job be completed.
