Our neighbors trash was picked up but ours was not. There is no way we can wait a week and I literally paid the $60 fee online yesterday. Someone needs to come get it. There is a small number of trimmed weeds on top but the bin is entirely closed. 90% of contents are household trash

See-Click-Fix has an issue in it's software or a problem in its operational parameters and in my contacts with the home office of See-Click-Fix, they asked me to take this to the Macon-Bibb administrator. I tried to do this over the phone earlier this year and was told that what I tried to explain to them was "not possible". After making a request this morning, (8316705) I scrolled down and took a picture of the problem. When follow-up on an issue is necessary, for one reason or another, I am unable to assist Macon-Bibb because the "Public commenting and status changes are not available for this request" line appears at the bottom of the request. Please have someone correct this software problem. I will hold this report in the Macon-Bibb system for now to allow time for an update before forwarding the file to the See-Click-Fix home office. Thank you!

Vegetation is growing on the Stop sign, the fire hydrant is covered with vegetation so that you cannot see it, and the bush is covering the right of way so that you have to pull out into the intersection to see if any cars are coming.

This problem was first addressed January 15, 2020 to Commissioner Valerie Wynn. To date, there has been no resolution and the dam continues to deteriorate.

    DESCRIPTION
The dam of the lake located in forest lake subdivision is failing. There are large holes in the dam that water flows through and continually get larger. There are dozens of homes downstream from this lake that could be destroyed by a sudden large release of water from the failure of this lake dam. Flooding has already compromised the sewer systems near the lake and contamination has been released downstream. The recent drought has provided temporary relief but the dam is still dangerous and in need of repair. We have contacted county commissioners. There has been no action in months after notification of the danger that exists. The deed states the lake should revert to a developer that is defunct, Tom Standard. This is a county property deed issue and the county needs to step up and handle the situation they created years ago with this property arrangement. My name is Scott Crews. My contact number is included in this request. It is 770-549-0979. I am the executor of a property that is in danger from this lake. I am attempting notification through every means available as this is likely to become a mutli million dollar problem and I want to be sure there is no doubt as the lengths taken to make the appropriate agency aware of the issue AND ACTION FOR AN EFFECTIVE RESOLUTION IS SWIFT BEFORE CATASTROPHIC DAMAGES OCCUR.

    Dear Commissioner Wynn,

This letter is to alert you of serious health and safety concerns involving a sewage leak and a tremendous flooding risk to dozens of properties in the Forest Lake Subdivision and properties downstream of the lake.

The immediate concern is the integrity of the Forest Lake dam. The dam has been leaking slowly for years causing stagnant water to remain in the overflow stream south of the dam. This water serves as a host for infestation of mosquitos and bacteria, etc.

A sewage spill (overflow) on my property adjacent to the dam was identified on Sunday, January 12th and was reported on Monday morning, January 13th. The Macon Water Authority responded immediately to this reported sewage spill on Monday. But, evidence of the sewage spill had already been washed down stream because the dam above the sewage line access is breaking apart causing flooding to the adjacent properties. The dam is pouring water through at least two large tunnels caused by erosion and inadequate maintenance of the property. The entire dam is at risk of a total breach

For at least 15 years, or more, residents have reported environmental and safety concerns to officials in differing Macon/ Bibb County city works authorities. Requested repairs and maintenance to this dilapidated, abandoned lake have passed from office to office with no resolution. This lake has now become a serious hazard which must be addressed soon to avoid catastrophic situations.

Thank you for assistance with this matter,
    Sincerely,
    478-361-7207

Trees and/or bushes are hanging over into the street at the corner of Hillandale and Pierce. When turning off of Pierce they tend to block the view of on-coming vehicles. This 50-yard stretch could use a good swipe with the bush hog.

There is a very large snake coiled in the tree right outside my office on the edge of my porch. I have called both animal control and the city, I was told that if it is not inside my house they will not come out. I am trying to have this taken care of before it gets into my house. This snake is black and is longer than I am tall so btw 6-8 feet. I have an animal in my home that I would prefer to not have injured as well as two children. I would like wildlife to come get this before it disappears again as I think it might be living under my house.

Home has been abandon for several years and all grown up with brush weeds and small trees. Home is really bad condition with the inside just as bad as the outside. Doors are open with small animals and snakes. Home is a danger to the community due to property lack of maintenance over the past several years. Has structural damage to roof and carport. Broken windows as well.

Branches from bushes and overgrowth along right of way extend into roadway. To avoid them you have to drive into the lane of oncoming traffic, and some of it is on a curve in the road. They scratch vehicles and look terribly unkempt.
