  • North St.On Braintree/Randolph Line Randolph, Massachusetts - Randolph
A pile of pallets was left by the entering Randolph sign on the on North St at the Braintree/Randolph town line.
I previously reported it a month ago and nothing was done!
Certainly not a good presentation for the town maybe nobody cares.
  • 179 Center Street Randolph, Massachusetts - Randolph

I got an email message saying this issue was closed. None of the overgrowth has been cut back at all and is still blocking the view of oncoming cars coming down center st towards East Druid Hill Ave. When I want to make a left hand turn from East Druid Hill Ave. onto Center Street the overgrowth blocks the view of oncoming cars.

The overgrowth vegetation is located on Center St from 179 center to the red fire hydrant on the corner of center Street and East Druid Hill Ave.

Nothing has been done to remedy this dangerous situation.

The sidewalks on Truman Drive between North Street and Cedar Avenue are in such bad condition they could be labelled dangerous. Holes, frost heaves, cracks filled with high tufts of weeds, lawns overgrown onto sidewalks making them very narrow make them extremely difficult to navigate. Being a very curvy street with speeding cars, walking in the road is not a safe option.

I had to laugh when I read the insert that was mailed with the census. In part, one of the noted policies was "no overnight street parking between 2am-6am" This house has at least two cars every night parked like this. Does money collected for parking go to the Town or does it go to the state or other entity? If this goes to the town, than the town would benefit from this and it would provide money to roads appropriately without having to make bad decisions on road repairs for lack of money. It also could be that there is no incentive for policing (which the Police have a tremendous load on their plate already) but the collection of this could go a long way in bringing on parking enforcers who would be able to patrol the town during these hours. This is throwing money away and it's not right. Where is the benefit to the homeowner who is trying to improve his/her lot when you allow this to continue? Make it so that when people hear about Randolph, they know that bad practices will not be tolerated. In some towns, you know you can't park overnight-there are public parking areas if there is not enough parking for that person. The town is losing money and it shouldn't. Provide an incentive for policing and enforce the policy.

Two snow plows came down my Cul de sac twice this morning. For some reason their only doing the middle. The past years they push the snow to the side of the sidewalk. Even if I clear my driveway I can't leave because only half the cul de sac is plowed.
