It is a frequently used pathway for residents to access Hannaford store. Linden St. is full of potholes so it makes it all the more treacherous walking to the store after work when it is dark out. If someone could please fix the light it would be greatly appreciated.
Northbound cars regularly ignore the left turn only lane to turn onto Dimmock Street. The sole purpose of which is to cut ahead of traffic. Cars accelerate at a high rate of speed then in most cases cut into traffic with no turn signal making a very dangerous situation for those legally proceeding up Adams street. Pedestrians are also at risk with this drag race tactic.
I found the street sign for Fayette Street on the ground next to the sign post at the indicated location on the map. I would like someone from the appropreate City Dept. to contact me so I can hand it in. I'm holding it so it can be replaced, saving tax payers the expense of having to make a new sign. it just has to be re-installed. The sign is in good condition. Thanks
There is no no truck sign at the end of Elm Street & Washington north bound on Washington. Trucks can turn onto a "no truck" street because there is no sign visible if the truck is turning from the north bound direction on Washington St. There is a visible sign from the southbound side. Reported to police. They told me to go to the DPW sign guy myself. Thought they should have taken the initiative.
The bald Van Tassel is liviing in the vacant store next to Manet Lunch. I saw him last Wednesday night at 9:30 pm riding a 3 wheeler ATV on the sidewalk, then turn onto Sea Street and pop wheelies. He then pulled it into the vacant store. The front dropdown gates were up. He and his girlfriend KATIE live in their, sleeping on the floor. They have a ton of candles burning because they don't usually have electricity. Candles within feet of the gas-filled ATV 3-wheeler.
