A 4-way stop is needed here! People fly down this street and one child was hit last spring, luckily she was not hurt. We have some speed bumps but they dont help at this intersection. We talked to the mayor and he said the city was against putting a stop sign here because it would increase pollution. Really? I think I would be ok with a little more pollution from a stop sign if it meant saving the life of a child.
The new traffic circle is fine, but when traveling south on 64 here visibility into oncoming traffic is obscured by the concrete guard rail on the left. Seems like it defeats the purpose of the circle if you practically have to stop here every time you need to enter it. Surely a see-thru type barrier was available.
1900 Old Morrilton Hwy Conway, AR 72032, USA - Conway
The right turn lane is marked with a yield sign, which makes no sense whatsoever. This means that people turning left believe they have the right of way over people turning right and this has led to numerous accidents and near accidents. This is illogical and against most state's turn laws. There is no need to add confusion at this increasingly busy intersection- take down the yield sign and return to the standard traffic laws where those turning left have to use either a green arrow or wait for the oncoming traffic before turning.
601-801 Elsinger Blvd Conway, AR 72032, USA - Conway
This really applies to all of Conway but the shrubs and trees need to be trimmed up so that we can see looking left and right. Elsinger is very dangerous to pull onto from the parking lots because of the plants.
The Lights on top of the concrete fencing of Centennial Apartments is too bright!! Between the extremely bright headlights and these lights being so bright you can barely see the lines on the road. If it is raining all you can see is a big glare.
The left turn signals on College Ave. at Farris Rd. constantly come on regardless of whether anyone is in the turn lane east or west. They stay on till they time out and it is causing extended traffic delays every day during the rush periods
The traffic light at Country Club and Riviera/White Oak used to stay green for Country Club traffic until a car pulled up on either Riviera or White Oak. Now it changes at random times. Usually about the time I approach it on Country Club it turns red for me and there are no cars on side streets.
For whatever reason the asphalt was removed from this area where Donnell Ridge Rd intersects with McNutt Rd. This causes your vehicle to drop down suddenly. It is a safety issue that needs to be addressed.
