  • Snow in Bike Lane Acknowledged

It is absolutely ridiculous and embarrassing that
there is still snow in the protected bike lanes on seaport Blvd. About 50% in both directions is unusable due to snow blocking the entrance or large amounts of snow elsewhere in the bike lane. There's almost zero snow in the entire city and yet this still hasn't been addressed. It shows a complete lack of interest in supporting the protected bike infrastructure the city installed. The bike infrastructure in the seaport looks like the city wanted to check a box but doesn't care about the cyclists at all. I'm so disappointed.

This vehicle has been parked in this same spot since August and has not moved. Half parked on the curb. With the upcoming snow this will cause difficulties with snow removal and parking bans on a Main Street.

Painted bike lane completely ineffective. TNC vehicles stopped at curb, no regard given for bike safety. Please protect this lane before someone is killed.

Nissan Rogue SUV light grey Arthur F. Arsenault Sr. drives under the influence of alcohol on a daily basis. I'm concerned he's going to hit a child, since he lives across the street from American Legion Playground & clearly has no regard for children's life. I seen him almost hit a person coming up Glendon Street blow through the stop sign to take a left to park in front of his house. During the week he goes to the 99 to eat everyday n on the weekends he goes to the Erie Pub. Certain Saturdays he goes to NH to buy cartons of cigarettes that he sells n cases of Natural Light cause he's an alcoholic n there's enough cases to build a fort out of boxes in his basement. I know I have seen it my whole life. His disregard for human life after my 36 years I can't continue to watch it it's unacceptable.

That’s it! Enough is enough! It has now been over a month and the graffiti STILL hasn’t been removed. Stop being so lazy! There is no need to forward it to different departments. Just grab a can of spray paint in the back of one of the garbage trucks and remove the graffiti! I will repost every day until you get the hint! I will also file a complaint against you with your manager and the mayor

Pedestrian crossing signals never make sense and are out of sync. No one pays attention to them for this reason and this area becomes very dangerous

I know there was a pedestrian death at this intersection not long ago, which led to some changes in the light cycle. I'm disappointed that these changes were so REACTIVE and not PROACTIVE. It seems like no one has considered how bikes will get through this intersection, despite providing a protected bike path on one side. I've been commuting through this intersection daily for about 3 months, and I have NEVER had a right turning car yield to me when I'm trying to bike straight from the bridge onto the protected bike path. NEVER!!! I don't understand why the city has to wait for a death to make changes to an intersection which is so obviously flawed. This intersection has the same flaws as the end of the harvard bridge with right turns onto Beacon St which lead to the death of Anita Kurmann in 2015. This intesection should be modeled off of the intersection of Broadway and Galileo Galilei Way in Cambridge, where there is a light phase just for turning, and then a separate light phase for cars and bikes to go straight. At the very least, there should be a sign that tells turning cars to yield to cyclists. Right now, the sign only says to yield to pedestrians, so that's just what the cars do! Please don't wait until another cyclist dies to make a change here.
  • Pothole Acknowledged
    Rt-28 S Boston, MA, 02114, USA - Central

The left lane of the MGH exit off of Storrow west bound has some immense potholes between the joints of the sections of bridge. Some of them are the width of the lane, they can't be dodged.

The right lane is like driving over a waffle. It's just a mess. It doesn't need pothole repairs, it needs complete re-surfacing.
