  • 1811 Whisperwood Way Nw Huntsville, AL, 35806, USA - Huntsville

This home caught fire in early 2018. The home owner has passed away. Other than being boarded up nothing has been done. The city has put notices up but again, nothing done. It has become a place for animals, snakes, mice and homeless people to dwell. I’m pretty sure a mortgage company owns the property now and something as to be done. It is affecting the safety of the neighborhood.

  • 2620 Hickory Flats Trl Se Huntsville, AL, 35801, USA - Huntsville

I'm not sure if this is an issue for the city or nor - forgive me if I'm directing this request to the wrong department - I know how busy you already are.

For the past several days there have been communication (fiber) lines laid across Garth. The dark line across the road to the right of the picture is where Google buried their lines. So...maybe these are Comcase or ATT (I think I saw ATT trucks in the neighborhood). Comcast has a long history (I could show you 3-4 other photos) of not returning to bury their lines in this neighborhood. I know of 2 other active cases right now. These lines are loosely draped across the road - I'm concerned they will get caught up in the wheels of a vehicle - not to mention the trashy look.

If this is something you could address, I (we) would MOST appreciate it. If it is not, but you know of someone I can reach out to - I'm happy to do that as well.

As always, thank you for the assistance, and all the great things you do for our communities!

  • 206-214 Shoals Point Trl Madison, AL, 35757, USA - Huntsville
Spilled paint from city garbage truck has been stuck to the street on Shoals Point Trail for over a year now. I reported this when it happened over a year ago and the only resolution that was offered from Huntsville Sanitation was "We have spoken with our driver's to inform them to not pick up cans that have paint in them, to prevent this from happening again." Well, the drivers still don't check the cans before emptying them. This was just the city's way out of having to remove it. I hoped that as time passed it would wear away but it has not. It looks terrible. The city needs to come out and pressure wash all this mess off the street. If nothing is done this time, I will contact 'WHNT investigates' because we have been having to look at this mess for over a year and it was reported in October 2017 and nothing was ever done.
