    There a a problem property at 16 and 20 Concord Street. There are numerous tenants living in the apartments and they park and leave their numerous cars on the street. One tenant has four cars and I’m so disgusted with this problem. I can’t even leave my house because I will not have a place to park. The landlord s should not be allowed to rent to as many tenants as they want. The tenant park and leave their cars for Months on end. Something needs to be as soon as possible it’s getting out of hand . Thank you for your prompt consideration in this matter.

    Seriously? Asphalt sidewalk patch? Talk about ghetto trash. I work in construction and even have experience with sidewalks. There’s no reason why you couldn’t have laid a 2x4 on the side and build a form to pour the concrete. Instead the DPW took the lazy approach and dumped their asphalt in for a quick patch. Grow up and do your job correctly. We don’t pay for hack city repairs. Let me guess here comes the excuses for the laziness....

    Hello all
    I've had my second meeting with the city of Malden and a random engineer ( one came yesterday and a different one came today ) we went over all the issues the majority of homeowners are having with the work on wyeth st. we started from the top again. we started at the porter potty that's blocking the sidewalk for roughly 2 months now and hasn't been cleaned once it's a horrible smell and not only does it make pedestrians have to walk in the street it smells horrible. we asked them to have it removed and they stated it's not our porter potty. I then stated I'll have it removed. the engineer stated if I touch it he will call the police and have me arrested. I told him if it's not yours then it's abandoned and should be removed anyways. The engineer then remembered it was a friend of his porter potty. I stated perfect let's have it removed . Mr lip stated it's very costly to move the porter potty and since it's a construction zone it legal can be there. I told him I use throne Depot daily and it's free to have it moved. I told them not a single worker has been here in months besides to dump trash on the street. I then stated what if someone walks around it and is hit buy a car there is majority kids living at that corner. he stated " hopefully the car has insurance because it would be their fault" I seen then there was no solution for this porter potty I'll be reporting it to the health department. next we moved on to the trash on the corner. we asked if it could be removed as it's trash no other reason. again they stated it was a construction site and I stated it's not to us. I told them kids play on it jumping from rock to rock can you put a fence around it then. they both stated there is no need and a fence isn't in the budget. ( saftey wasn't budgeted in again) we then walked by driveways that used to be pitched towards the street now pitched towards the houses. the engineer said it looks fine to me I argued my case by putting a level on the driveway showing it was or used to be pitch towards the street and that got us nowhere . we moved on to the patio that vanished. one day our neighbor had a patio then poof gone. the engineer stated he personally did the site plan and there was no patio. the neighbor wasn't home to tell this engineer but was at yesterday meeting. after me assuring this engineer there was a patio he stated it wasn't a nice one and was very old. this is correct but it wasn't their patio to disgaurd or to judge how important to the owner. He then said the dirt is better then what they had but this wasn't a joke to us. we then moved on-to the 2.5 inch lip to get onto the curb that then allowed people to get into their homes. I asked since they don't know when this job will be done can they put ramps ( as they always do in every city in mass while working on the roads) I stated a person in a wheel chair can't get on the sidewalk . they then stated it won't have a lip when we are done. I said ok I'll let the guy in the wheel chair know he's going to have to walk until they get time to do the street. The engineer stated how did they use the sidewalk before I (noted to ask) we then moved onto my driveway. I told them they cut my driveway up while I was at work and came home to a muddy mess. they installed new asfault on a part of my driveway. I stated if they are going to do shotty work on the street and the sidewalks there is nothing anyone on our street can do besides wait till the winter when a plow tears it up but we do have a say in how you do the work on our property. The engineer stated that I have no right to tell him what's right and what's wrong I told him I have a csl and know how asfault should be installed properly. I could also get my own engineer out to do a core sample in my driveway to check to see if there is the correct underlayment. he then stated I can't do that. the engineer stated if I didn't have underlayment in my driveway before they wouldn't have put it back. apparently the rules are when doing road work is "if it was wrong before it will be wrong again" I then told him is that the rules with the gas lines and water lines when you redo them? gas was leaking before. that pipe was about to break before we started so we put a half broken pipe back? I had part of my driveway removed today and found there is no underlayment and just complete mud under the asfault. Mr lip stated nothing is going to be fixed so what are the residents looking for. I said we will fight this pour work to our properties with a lawyer if need be but until then we are looking for the saftey issues to be fixed in a timley manner. he then stated there is nothing unsafe about Wyeth st. we had to agree to disagree. I told him I would send pictures of the shotty work to our properties along with a recap of the interaction on see click fix. he said please just email me directly . I told him I preferred that everyone knows what's going on. he then blocked our account on see click fix

    Detour of forest street is rerouting drivers to starbird st. That street is already very narrow two way street. This morning it was at a standstill. Drivers couldn't back out on mt. vernon or on porter to let others by. Please add a police detail in morning to help with traffic.

    This is located where the new apartments near Malden Center are being built. I have more close up pictures of the problem. Basically, the ramp does not fit the sidewalk properly and there's a several inch drop from the top of the ramp to the ground. The ramp does not provide adequate stability for people with wheelchairs or walkers to move onto the sidewalk safely. A wheelchair can flip over or someone with vision and depth perception issues can step off the ramp improperly and get hurt. Not to mention the sidewalk is dirt with a bunch of big, loose rocks that can get stuck in wheels or cause a fall. After using the ramp to get onto the sidewalk, in order to get off the other end of the sidewalk, there is no ramp (not pictured) so people with wheelchairs would have to take another drop off (although the gap is not as large as is seen in the picture provided.) Please require the company to provide safe and adequate options for people of all abilities to navigate around their construction site.

    The past couple of weeks I have had to pickup a family member from the Malden MBTA Station daily. Two nights out of the last nine I have experienced WRONG WAY DRIVERS on Exchange Street! 😰 One was at the intersection of Washington (came down Washington from Pleasant and took a RIGHT onto Exchange) the other was at the intersection of Middlesex.

    There seems to be a great deal of traffic coming down Exchange Street. I have noticed this while waiting on Exchange Street to pick up my passenger. (The Malden MBTA Station is just SUCH A DANGEROUS PLACE when entering as EVERYONE just stops at the entrance to drop off rather than pull into a safe spot. I felt it would be safer for BOTH of us if I just waited on Exchange Street.) Think maybe the area should be looked at and MORE SIGNAGE be put up to make it clearer to drivers that Exchange Street is ONE WAY. In both instances it didn’t look like the drivers knew it was a one way street as they both looked quite puzzled at to why so many vehicles were coming towards them.

    Hoping a review of the area and added signage with make Exchange Street safer for all!

    I have lived in this neighborhood since 1981 and have NEVER seen RATS until the last 1-2 years. I have spent a fortune (on a limited SSI income) on bait and covered trash containers. They are chewing through the bottoms of heavy duty (very expensive) trash barrels. What is the City of Malden doing to assist? Are there special trash receptacles available? Baiting? PLEASE HELP!!! This is disgusting...…...

    Light flashes red and yellow. No one knows what this means. Some people stop and most people do not. This is a hazard, right in front of a fire station. What is the deal with the traffic department in Malden? Please improve.

    Hello,
    About year 1-2 yrs ago, 90-92 fairmont street was purchased and rented. I do not know who the landlord is but the neighbors and I have been witnessing a multitude of issues with the new tenants.
    1) #90- On the second floor, there is a couple living there who have different but steady tenants coming in and out. (between 3-4 people extra that change every few months. We are assuming that they are subletting.
    2) #92 -There are at least 5-6 people currently living in the property when the landlord rented to one woman. Again, these people change from time to time, indicating a sub-letting.

    With all these people in a small house, comes:
    1) Alcohol related fighting in the middle of the night-(police are called several times)
    2) Trash is put out every friday night when the trash day is Monday. As a result Animals break through the bags, leaving garbage all over the street
    3) Constant noise into all hours of the night (music, fighting, parties)
    4) No respect for the neighbors
    5) Absent landlord
    6) MOST IMPORTANTLY: They bring with them 10-12 cars (driveway only holds 3 cars). including vans, constructions vans and their own cars but 10 spots are taken on Fairmont street from this one house.

    Everyone is sick of it! Please help us.

    Extremely loud building alarms have been running from 1am through 9am around 100 Exchange street this week. First occurrence was Monday and then again Today (Wednesday). The alarms are not pausing they just keep going. Sounds like it is coming from the National Grid building on Exchange Street or one of the parking garages.

    Snow and ice completely obstructing sidewalk Main @ Kenmore Citizen’s Bank property. Discovered when trying to bypass the snow obstructing the other part of Main @ Kenmore which has yet to be cleared.
