Residents with resident parking permit have tremendous difficulties finding a parking here. This is a street FULL of parking meters with only 3-4 spots left. Being a resident, it means I may have to park my car here for a long time while I am at work somewhere else. How do I pay the meter for every 2 hours? If you think 3-4 spots (depending on size of vehicles) is enough, then why there is no one enforcing the 2-hour only rule against vehicles WITHOUT parking permit on those spots? I have seen repeatedly that a vast majority of vehicles WITHOUT resident parking permits parked there much much longer than 2 hours. As a resident, I am facing the daily challenges of finding a spot without the risk of tickets. I don’t feel I have the liberty to use my car. I only use it when I absolutely have no choice as it may cause me hours to find a parking spot.
This issue has to be addressed in a timely manner. The residents have suffered long enough for the trouble. Some of them may be unwilling to speak out. But I cannot tolerate it anymore. Thank you for time and help.
Trash collectors are arriving around 630am which creates a lot of noise and wakes up residents. They are not supposed to arrive until after 7am per city noise ordinance and have been told several times.
