Did not pickup yard waste again this happens all the time waste Management is pathetic and useless if you call the telephone number that’s on the city of Salem’s website to report missed pickup they just lie to you and tell you they sent a request for pickup and nothing happens, the city of Salem should be ashamed of themselves for hiring idiots like this that make people waste their time lugging the yard waste out and don’t do their job of picking it up!

There is trash (broken glass, cigarette packs, alcohol containers, etc.) every two feet of the side walk on Wilson Street in between Wilson Road and Old Road. The side walk has been littered with trash since August 2019.

It is not a deep pothole however it is getting wider everyday, maybe 4 ft wide or so.
  • 72-100 Ocean Ave Salem, MA, 01970, USA - City of Salem
Next door neighbor has piles of trash piled up in their driveway and backyard. We have had multiple rodents in our back yard because of this. It is disgusting!!!!
  • 96 Loring Ave Salem, MA, 01970, USA - City of Salem

A hole-cover marked "WATER" in the street between 92 and 96 Loring Ave, Salem MA makes a loud clicking noise when car tires pass over it.

I originally opened issue 7005812 on 11/21/19 to deal with the same cover noise issue (at the same location). Today I see that issue 7005812 was archived and closed on 1/8/20 without any explanation - just that it was resolved. How was it resolved? The noise issue was never fixed, or it was fixed but the fix did not silence the water cover. The water cover is still loudly clanging away when a car drives over it.

On 1/6/20, to get a better idea of the time estimate for fixing the issue, I called the Salem Public Works. I was told that they would get to it, but they had a huge backlog of work and it would take some time. So I waited.

Maybe the Salem Public Works is very backlogged and is being responsible and intending to get to this issue when they can. If that's the case, why was issue 7005812 archived? Shouldn't it remain open until the issue is resolved, by which I interpret to mean fixed? At least, if you close or archive this issue, please state your reason for doing so. I and my neighbors are still waiting for a fix to this issue. It has now been over 2 1/2 months

This is for two segway type scooters that have been abandoned at 103 Canal street in front of Pre Owned auto sales. One had the lights on, but I could not figure out how to turn it off. Thank you
  • 225 Canal St Salem 01970, United States - City of Salem
I’ve called Salem Public Works and/or Salem police 5 times about this. The fire department noticed it yesterday and they called it in too. They just keep putting the cap back on and it continuously flies off. The frame needs to be rebuilt from sinking further into the road and the lid needs to be bolted on. This is borderline ridiculous. Let me know how much the lawsuit is when a motorcycle drops into it and takes a header.

  • North Shore Medical Center Salem Hospital 81 Highland Ave, Salem, MA, 01970, USA - City of Salem
The workers working on the back side of the hospital are not wearing masks nor are they working 6 feet apart as recommended. Yesterday there were 8-10 workers and only 2 had masks on; two workers were standing close together talking with no masks; another working was leaning on another's shoulder laughing and talking with no masks.
