    New owners turning a single family home in an R1 residential neighborhood into an illegal 3 family They have added 2 additional kitchens Construction going on all hours of night They had a compressor and table saw running at 3 Am last weekend They have numerous contractors coming from NY every weekend No permits with plumbing electrical etc going on This is not acceptable and this is not a multi family zoned area This is not simply someone trying to sneak an in-law in the basement It looks like they are building a rooming house At least 5 additional bedrooms have been added

    First of the map is not putting the correct st it is calling Wilson st “rd”. Second why is it necessary to put all the pylons for a bike lane that no one uses. Most importantly when I am driving in my vehicle and there are cars on both sides and an emergency vehicle needs me to pull over where am I pulling over? You have created an unsafe situation and if an emergency vehicle is coming down there to my my house and your bike lane slows their ability to reach me or A family member then your going to have legal issues. Bikes need to “share” the road not take the whole road causing a dangerous situation.

    So many people are upset, and I agree, with the Wilson Street bike lane. What no one has done is to present a solution aside from abandoning the entire project.
    My solution, take away the poles and add a rumble strip, EXACTLY AS YOU DID ON FORT AVENUE WHICH WORKS INCREDIBLY WELL, without giving drivers the sense of being squeezed in together. This solves the emergency vehicle needing to pass, the snowplows ripping or damaging the poles, while still providing the driver with a warning system that they are off the road.
    And yes, just today I almost got sideswiped by a landscapers truck and trailer crossing the double line into my lane. Scary...

    Request to have a Do Not Block painted on Jefferson Ave, at the intersection of Preston Road. This will allow residents in this neighborhood to exit onto Jefferson Ave, when the light is red at the Loring Ave and Jefferson Ave intersection. Thank you!

    With all the traffic backing up on Willson St for Covid testing, wouldn't it be a good idea to remove the bike barriers and allow all the additional cars to line up in that lane? Right now, once the lot is full, cars have no place to go. Creating an additional lane would help the traffic flow.

    There are over 20 residential and company sidewalks on Lafayette Street right from The beginning of Lafayette to the end of Salem that do not have there sidewalk shoveled. This presents a major hazard for walkers, runners, kids, and anyone for that matter. There is a law in Salem that requires owners to shovel. Who is monitoring this and why are people not being fined? This is a need immediately as I have witnesses people, old and young, slip and fall on these ice patches. Please confirm that action will be taken. Thank you!

    A giant pothole has opened up around a manhole cover near the old Horace Mann school. It's a rim bender for sure.

    This property has to be looked at ASAP regarding the squalid conditions of the outside of the property. There is 20-30 bags of trash scattered in the front and the overgrowth presents a hazard for first responders needing to enter the house.
