    The property is constantly a menace to our community. This rink leads to a series of issues:

    - The customers stay past closing until 1 or 2 AM in the morning having tailgating parties.
    - The rink leaves its floodlights on until 4 AM every day, it's disruptive to nearby residents trying to sleep but also invites teenagers to party all night.
    - The customers litter their discarded trash all over the parking lot after games.

    We have called and left emails and messages to no avail, can someone please bring attention to these issues.

    I was just told to move from the bar area from Faces Brewing as I had ordered food to go and had ordered drinks while I was waiting on my food. My food arrived, and I had started munching on some of it as I finished my drink. I was then told to move from the bar area since I was eating. I even had asked if I needed to order food with my drink and the bartender said no. There were lots of other people at the bar and not a single person had food with them, so it seems as if people are able to order drinks without food. Masks are not enforced here either, as only staff were wearing them. I witnessed several people that were ordering drinks/food in the seated area that were not drinking or eating talking to the waitress without masks, and staff didn’t enforce the policy.

    My landlords think that they can send contractors to make repairs in my unit without any notice/appointment. Today the electrician showed up @12: 15-20 pm without an appointment and stated that he didn't need to make any appointment and was upset because I insisted that an appointment was needed before just showing up. I called the landlords immediately after our exchange and was told to call back after 4pm because everyone was in a meeting.

    Please see attachment and note that none of my repairs are 24hrs. There is no excuse why management cannot schedule an appointment for my repairs. I ask the Board of Health to remind my landlords of the rules regarding scheduling repairs. There is bathroom work that needs to be done and I will definitely need notice for those repairs so that I can plan accordingly.

    Also, the electrician DID NOT have on a face mask. What are the rules regarding PPP for contractors?

    I'm a little confused... the construction company working on Rosemont St. (generally a great team) just buried the water line access point for my house under concrete. Is this standard? What if they need to find it again?

    Almost every Saturday someone sets up a mini flee market right on the sidewalk in front of the Holland Pool close to 120 mountain ave. Does he have a permit? is this allowed to begin with in Malden?

    Drivers and pedestrians without driver's ed don't know what the red plus yellow signal means. I've observed cars running the light on both Main St and Mountain Ave in the same signal interval. Please consider upgrading the intersection to use more commonly known walk/don't walk signals.

    These cinder blocks have been abandoned in the hallway for months and are a safety hazard. I kindly ask that they be removed. Please note that this is my 2nd request.

    The fire alarms in the common areas need their batteries changed. They have been giving off a beeping/warning sound for a while now.

    On another note,
    The entire building and my apartment smells like Marijuana everyday and it's disturbing my quite enjoyment; It's very uncomfortable breathing, trying to sleep or just living in my unit when the entire place is filled with the smell of Marijuana and sometimes cigarettes. The smoking issue has been an ongoing issue that has been reported to management/landlord multiple times. I don't believe management has or even want to address the problem as I've been told in the past that a smoking policy is hard to enforce.

    I ask that the smoking issue be addressed promptly and with an aggressive approach as it is becoming intolerable to live in my unit.

    I am concerned that people are camping in the woods at the end of the parking lot of this property, behind the homes at 28, 32, and 36 Autumn St. My wife and I heard voices from that area at dusk last night. I heard them again this morning just after sunrise. I then saw a woman in the area this morning with a bicycle and a backpack. I was not going to post a photo to spare an obviously homeless person unnecessary embarrasment. However, I saw her discard an empty water bottle by tossing it in the lot. I asked her to pick it up and take it with her. She responded with a disgusting slur and a string of profanity. I called the police because of her aggressive and threatening response. MPD responded very quickly and were very helpful and professional. However she had left the area in the few minutes it took them to respond. I have posted her photo so other neighbors can be aware of her, especially given her level of aggression.

    Please address the issue with the property owner. The neighborhood has had decades of issues with this property, including illegal dumping, probable drug dealing, noise pollution from people hanging out late at night, and intrusive light pollution from the high intensity lighting they added a few years ago (which now lights up my once peaceful backyard and my son's bedroom like the Vegas strip). That was installed to facilitate their illegal, unpermitted off-site parking operation, which, pre-pandemic at least, has operated consistently since before we moved in more than 20 years ago. The owner even issues parking "permits" to people who don't live there. There is a vehicle with such a "permit" parked there right now, in fact. Pre-pandemic, for as long as we have lived here, we could watch numerous vehicles every morning park there. The owners would exit their vehicles with backpacks, briefcases, and coffee mugs in hand and walk directly to the T station. While less common now, it still happens. No doubt, we're going to see that activity increase in coming weeks.

    Even more concerning though, our neighborhood had a rash of burglaries several years ago. This wooded area is open to numerous back yards on Autumn St. In one instance, perpetrators were chased out of a home on Rosemont St. (which intersects Autumn) in the early morning by a resident -- an extremely dangerous and potentially deadly situation. The individuals used this location as a path to flee, and even dumped stolen property there.

    The owner of 29 Winter needs to secure his property before we have another potentially more serious incident. He needs to fence this area off so it cannot be accessed or used as an access point for criminals to backyards on Autumn, or as an illegal campsite.

    Again, thank you to the officers who responded. They were well aware of the property's history of problems and even told me about an incident involving a person found sleeping in the property's dumpster. So it's only a matter of time before something bad happens there.

    I am reporting this here in addition to MPD because over the years the response from other city officials has been less than satisfactory. It has been completely inadequate and dismissive of resident's concerns, actually. It is time that city inspectors and other officials respond to the complaints about this problem property and take action concerning the numerous issues neighbors have raised over the years, rather than doing what they have done in the past, which has been to tell us every single time that what we see with our own eyes isn't happening.

    Nearly every night for the past week there's been an incredibly pungent odor outside. I can best approximate it as deep fried food and cilantro. It's keep-your-windows-closed bad and has become a real nuisance. What's happening? I'm used to the regular Malden smells of Piantedosi and coffee roasting, but this is quite chemically and really terrible.

    What gave a city councilor the idea that she could have a weekly unpermitted parade on our city's streets in the midst of a stay-at-home advisory? The music blared so loudly this morning that I could hear it coming from two blocks away, absolutely shattering the peace and quiet of a beautiful Saturday morning. After finally driving off, they came back for round two. Thankfully, a police officer working a detail on the street came over and told them to turn it down. On top of it all, none of the participants were masked despite their commission of repeated social distancing violations. Is this the example from our city's leaders that the rest of us are to follow?

    Meanwhile, while THEY are allowed to gather on OUR streets and create a disruption, imposing THEIR idea of "fun" on all the rest of us, OUR parks that OUR taxes fund remain closed, denying ALL of us the ability to enjoy OUR community as WE see fit, without any sound epidemiological basis whatsoever. Parents are being chased off baseball diamonds for hitting ground balls to their kids. Married couples are prohibited from playing tennis. Siblings aren't allowed to throw a football. Given the unreasonable and excessive restrictions being imposed on all of us, the hypocrisy and sense of entitlement displayed this morning by a supposed leader of our community was absolutely staggering. Open the parks. Shut down the parades.

    In light of all of this, I have some questions: are we all allowed to have unpermitted parades? Are we all allowed to drive around the city with music blaring? I always thought that was illegal. Was I wrong? Or is there some special rule that allows members of city government to do it, but not the rest of us? Please let me know. Because if it is lawful, I would like to organize a similar event to be held on the councilor's street. I will gladly select the music. Do you think she likes Disturbed? Thank you.
