Now that the parks are closed to the public and the gates are locked, preventing police from patrolling there, the park is overrun with groups drinking and smoking pot, especially on the top and on the south side closest to Boston. If parks are going to be closed, please police this park so that we who live near it don’t need to smell pot all day and hear people breaking glass bottles. Thank you.

Whats being done if any to All the Non Essential Businesses operating in and around Malden ? Legit business are following the rules - The rest aren't and are making they're own rules ? If a restaurant /bar was open they'd get fined and lose licenses . Painters - wood floor companies (Canal ST) carpenters -siding - Homeowners and Contractors need to be equally held accountable. They are possibly spreading and carrying the virus . Control it .
A white plow truck is plowing in my property. I asked him what he was doing and he said he had no place to put the snow and would come back to move it off the sidewalk. He has not come back as of now. The location is the intersection is Rosemont and Autumn st.
Hi, I walk around my neighborhood and notice no joggers are wearing face masks. They are huffing and puffing right next to other pedestrians. I think this is dangerous. They are spewing huge vapor trails behind them. Can you please put out a notice for runners and joggers to wear face masks? If not, then please post the facts about vapor trails that runners and joggers produce to alert the public. There must be some statistics on the danger of human vapor trails by now. Thanks.
Metal rod in parking lot damaging cars. I complained about this months ago but nothing has been done it ripped my front bumper and last time they said it’s fixed just to find out weeks later it’s still there
Despite the parks being officially closed, there is substantially increased use of Waitts Mount Park in the last week. In addition to added foot traffic, there are MANY cars parking on Leonard St, throughout the day and evening, some of which are large vehicles parking on the sidewalks. Every evening and well into the night, groups, tightly packed, are going into the park. I understand the desire for people to be comforted by spending time in natural surroundings but this is adding risk to the neighborhood and stressing residents with noise and potential health hazards from personal contacts and trash. Remedy: Post signs for RESIDENT ONLY parking. ENFORCE parking regulations. HAVE POLICE check the park in the evenings.
Every other business in Malden has done a great job with the Covid-19 requirements that i have seen. But, Dairy Delight has done nothing but block the sidewalk. There are no signs or placemarkers for social distancing. People are all over the place, blocking the sidewalk. The owners also leave a uncovered trash on the sidewalk over night for the racoons to eat from. In addition, I believe it is against health code to have uncovered trash bins in a food serving area. Make them clean up their act as they are putting us all at risk. Maybe they can serve out of the back and not obstruct pedestrian access on the sidewalk and allow for proper social distancing.
Does anybody know how many accidents a month are at the corner of Tremont and Mountain Ave. ? I just heard another accident there. Obviously, the mirror on the pole doesn't work. Just wondering why something else cannot be done there. I am sure the police are not even notified of a lot of these accidents. How about a 4 way Stop sign, or a speed bump on Tremont?
