Drivers and pedestrians without driver's ed don't know what the red plus yellow signal means. I've observed cars running the light on both Main St and Mountain Ave in the same signal interval. Please consider upgrading the intersection to use more commonly known walk/don't walk signals.

Nearly every night for the past week there's been an incredibly pungent odor outside. I can best approximate it as deep fried food and cilantro. It's keep-your-windows-closed bad and has become a real nuisance. What's happening? I'm used to the regular Malden smells of Piantedosi and coffee roasting, but this is quite chemically and really terrible.

Can you please explain why if City Hall is open until 5pm why the Engineering Office had the security screen at the customer counter closed at 4:30pm this afternoon and no staff in sight. Does the Engineering Department have different hours then the rest of City Hall? If so this should be published on the website.

shoveling always stops at condo line other owners have not shoveled in two years

Are we not enforcing the shoveling of sidewalks this year? There seems to be no responses to any of the complaints being made.

Just wondering if I don't have to worry about doing this at my house anymore since there seem to be no consequences.......

This is a public shelter for homeless families and there is fecal matter in the halls, rotting bags of garbage, and hoards of oversized toys and personal belongings that no doubt are hazardous for ones health and cause fire hazards. I've voiced my concerns to management with no avail.
  • Florence St & Main St Malden, MA, 02148, USA - Malden Ward 4
Sidewalk on Main Street in front of New England Hair Academy routinely crowded with a large group of people not wearing masks and unwilling to make room for walkers passing by. It looks like its perhaps a spot where their students or staff to take breaks. It would be great if the academy could designate a specific space for breaks so that general public can pass by safely on the sidewalk while maintaining physical distance guidelines, especially since the people standing on the sidewalk are not wearing masks.

This planter is being used as a trash can. I had requested that it be removed, but the City ignored my request. It's always filled with trash and will continue to be until the City removes it all together.

Please remove the garbage AND the planter as well so people stop using it as a trash can. Also, the grass needs to be cut and all debris picked up in/around the parking lot.

    Thank you

14 Autumn St Malden, MA 02148, USA - Malden Ward 4

I'm trying to understand the thought process here. All the way down Autumn St and throughout the entire neighborhood, trash and recycling barrels have been placed on the sidewalk by the city, reducing the width of the sidewalk to as little as 18 inches in places. There is plenty of room on the grass strip between the street and sidewalk. And almost every home has a driveway where barrels could be left. Autumn Street is just a block from the Oak Grove T Station. The neighborhood's streets are used by numerous pedestrians, including the elderly, parents pushing strollers, and the disabled, including many people who use wheelchairs and others who are visually impaired and navigate by cane and/or with the assistance of service animals. All of these people must now walk or wheel in the street. Meanwhile Autumn St. and the adjoining streets are used as a cut off of the Main and Winter intersection by drivers, many of whom speed through the neighborhood and run stop signs.

Sidewalks are for pedestrians. If a resident placed trash barrels like this, s/he would (hopefully) be cited by the city for blocking the sidewalk. The pedestrian/disabled access situation in this city is bad enough as it is. Please don't make it worse. Do better. And set a good example for residents in the process. Thank you.

These cinder blocks have been abandoned in the hallway for months and are a safety hazard. I kindly ask that they be removed. Please note that this is my 2nd request.

The fire alarms in the common areas need their batteries changed. They have been giving off a beeping/warning sound for a while now.

    On another note,
The entire building and my apartment smells like Marijuana everyday and it's disturbing my quite enjoyment; It's very uncomfortable breathing, trying to sleep or just living in my unit when the entire place is filled with the smell of Marijuana and sometimes cigarettes. The smoking issue has been an ongoing issue that has been reported to management/landlord multiple times. I don't believe management has or even want to address the problem as I've been told in the past that a smoking policy is hard to enforce.

I ask that the smoking issue be addressed promptly and with an aggressive approach as it is becoming intolerable to live in my unit.

    Thank you
