Fountain Ter & Huron Ave Cambridge, MA, 02138, USA - Cambridge
Painted yellow and black sign seems to have permanently attached to city property on Huron Avenue for 5 weeks
We are recommending to our friends and other people who are tired of seeing the sign That we are going to withhold our tax payment to the city until it is removed thank you

Daily sidewalk obstruction by people waiting outside Urgent Care, standing too close together, not social distancing, spread over sidewalk. Passersby must walk in street to avoid them and observe social distancing.
We already have constructions for one year on Putnam str that starts at 7 am from Monday to Saturday and now we have church bells on Sunday for half an hour. Can we have one peaceful day a week at least?
Bands/musicians have been playing and singing not wearing masks on Brattle St Plaza (beside Brattle Florist). Why is this allowed?!! For example, 4 piece band singing on plaza on Tues, Nov 10, 2020 from 5 pm to after 6 pm. This also occurs on other days of the week, usually Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays; late afternoon into evening. This has been occurring since September but not every day. This area is also near a T entrance and exit. A crowd gathers and does not distance. No bands nor musicians should be allowed at all! Masks or not this should not be allowed. Please stop this. No police in the area when we see this. Thank you.

Between the fireworks and numerous car break-ins; what is the city's plan for our community in the Port? Feel like safety, especially late at night, is going back downhill. Feels like a powder keg ready to explode with some of the actions seen when walking around these streets.
People are constantly dumping garbage here. Can we get a sign stating it’s illegally. Unfair for school department staff to deal with the mess. We also have a rat problem in the neighborhood and this can’t be a good idea. The stuff this am is from a resident on Broadway. The magazines have the name and address.

I love the shared streets - I've been walking a lot to get exercise since the pandemic started, and I appreciate having a place where I can keep a distance from other pedestrians (very difficult otherwise in the heart of Cambridge) while still getting my exercise. I'm conscientious about other street users and walk towards the edge of the street to leave plenty of room for cars and cyclists to get through. I think most other users of the streets, including drivers, have also been conscientious in their use, but today I was harassed by a driver when walking on Harvard Street, who yelled for me to get onto the sidewalk since there wasn't a nearby pedestrian on the sidewalk at that time. (There was also another car further down the street that zoomed by much faster than the 10 mph speed limit, although overall I've seen cars moving slowly on these streets which I appreciate.) I wonder if this harassment was a result of poor understanding of the shared streets by the driver, and if so, perhaps clearer signage or barriers would help.
While on Hampshire at Elm Saturday 8/15/20 around 10:40am I saw two police officers directing traffic with many construction workers and pedestrians nearby (definitely within 6 feet) and neither police officer was wearing a mask. They also weren't enforcing the mask requirement to those who walked by without a mask on. This is truly absolutely unacceptable. Can civilians issue violation tickets to police officers for failing to follow the governor's orders requiring masks in public?

I just about got run over by a truck that decided to pass me while I was going from Mass to Brattle. How about some flex posts, or better yet, rigid bollards, to prevent trucks from using the bike lane as their "extra room" when they want to drive lazy? The other changes are nice, but I don't know why this wasn't addressed.
Silk Road restaurant at 645 Cambridge St, Cambridge, MA 02141 flushed their grease system into their alley and into our property, (27/29 Lambert st) which leads to a storm drain. The grease is thick and is an obvious bait for rodents. This is NOT the first time they have gone the lazy route for "cleaning" their grease. Their exhaust system is a fire hazard for the entire neighborhood.
