Thank you for submitting this request, it has been resolved. Notes: ------- Thanks for the call in on this. The barricade company has been informed by our division that these advance warning signs need to have speed reduction and share the road when placement has to be staged on bike lane. the signage in this regard has no median for placement. -------
Concerning the median at this Central Avenue location, while the raise median is pretty skinny across the Rio Grande Bridge, the currently 100% unused A.R.T. bus lanes are more than wide enough. And they are completely empty. Please place such signs there over blockage of a bicycle or driving lane.

Thank you for submitting this request, it has been resolved. Notes: ------- The signage in place on Central cannot be set in the ART or the sidewalk due to obstruction. The barricade company has been informed to have hare the road in pace or bike lane closed ahead placed again prior to the advance warning areas. -------
The sign companies have apparently been informed, over and over again, that they're supposed to have share the road and bike lane closed signs in place, and they keep failing to do it - usually, as happened in this case, the whole thing gets ignored until the construction is done. In this case, the construction was completed the last time I rode across the bridge. The only thing left was a single "road closed ahead" sign blocking the bike lane! What sort of systemic fix is possible so the sign companies get this right in the first place?
