The Arborist made a previous decision that the owner was responsible. To me, that is if the tree is in their appropriated swale areas. That's the code and also the association rules. The roots are encroaching into the adjacent property and destroying the driveway apron. They previously destroyed a water meter box in the easement on the private property. This box was also encroached upon. Since this is actually city property and the property lines do not extend into the city property, Will someone with some expertise in this matter get involved. The Arborist along with Code Enforcement should be giving homeowners some assistance before the owners are forced to face off on these issues. Another few years of root infestation will destroy more and more aprons and sidewalks. Homeowners do not understand their responsibility for these trees. We need some help! The HOA refuses to get involved.
