Description
I am tired of driving down Limerick Center Rd and trying to make a left onto W Cherry Lane. This "veer-off" is terrible and I'm surprised that it hasn't been reported yet. A simple yield sign for people traveling the opposite way may even help. Such a poor design!!

Drivers making a left hand turn are to YIELD to oncoming traffic. Drivers turning right onto Limerick Center Road from West Cherry Lane, are to STOP, look, then safely proceed.
The "design" in the road has existed for many many years and there is absolutely no need for it to be altered. Driving is a privilege, not a "right" and the only hazards on the roadways are the subjects themselves, who are driving recklessly and therefore, endangering the welfare of others.
If time is an issue, then the suggestion would be to begin your travels a few minutes earlier in order to allot yourself the additional 5-10 seconds necessary, to safely proceed in making your left hand turn.
This particular location is currently in the process of being monitored due to the excessive complaints of subjects traveling southwest on Limerick Center Road and failing to yield to oncoming traffic, when attempting to complete a left turn onto West Cherry Lane. These actions increase the potential for vehicular accidents, as well as, putting the safety of others at risk.
For more information, please reference: THE VEHICLE CODE (TITLE 75); PART III - OPERATION OF VEHICLES; CHAPTER 33 - Rules of the Road in General; SUBCHAPTER B - Right-of-Way; SECTION 3322 - Vehicle Turning Left

Actually this intersection is a problem. You are making a nearly blind left turn as the merge is in the middle of a turn. This setup was stupid from the start and should be reevaluated.
Thanks for the PA traffic code (roll eyes)!!!

My apologies for offending you sir. My intentions were not to irritate you to the point that your username should change. Especially to one that commonly appears on this site.
Perhaps you should re-read my previous response and you will find that I merely provided a speculation; otherwise known as an opinion, a theory, or a thought. Opinions are certainly not threats...they are one of The People's Rights.
