For the love of God, can we please get the sidewalks and the streets, cleaned up from glass, trash, branches, open holes in the sidewalk tiles open holes in the sidewalk plants growing from the sidewalk it’s an absolute disgrace! This isn’t a nature walk. 7th Ave n from 7th st n towards the small lake and literally everywhere is not what this area should look like! It’s a dump! The smell of dog poop in trash cans as you walk by a complex is delicious! My dog has her poor toes toenails and feet falling into everywhere and has been tripped up and fell multiple times! She’s 13 and this should be a clean beautiful walk. It’s a risk every day of her being injured! I’m very frustrated with having to climb over trash and branches etc. please send more than 3 employees! This should be a 50 m/w crew to get this done with pride! Who’s in charge of keeping our town clean? This isn’t Philly or Baltimore and it’s starting to feel that way. I lived in both so that’s a reference of facts… no easily triggered need comment. Does anyone else feel icky walking down the sidewalk?

SeeClickFix works best when residents provide a specific issue at a specific location when submitting a request. Creating a separate SCF request for each individual issue allows better tracking for both the responding departments and for citizens to follow the progress if each issue. There is also the option to provide a photo of the area of concern which helps us to locate the issue and ensures that we are addressing your specific concern.
Many of the issues you’ve listed (dog feces, trash, vegetation) are responsibilities of private property owners and residents. Those issue, due to state law, will need to reported under the Codes Compliance category or called into the Codes department directly 727-893-73737. This may also be an opportunity for a neighborhood project through your neighborhood association. For more information on neighborhood cleanup projects, please contact the Neighborhood Relations department 727-551-3341.
The hex block issues on this block at the reported address and 702 6th St N will be forwarded with this SeeClickFix report. If you find additional issues with the sidewalks in your area or any issues related to City assets, please create a new SCF report for each location under the appropriate category.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns. The Stormwater, Pavement, and Traffic Operations Department maintains over 1,000 miles of road surface, alleyways, sidewalks, and curbs through the City of St. Petersburg. For scale, that's longer than the distance from St. Petersburg to the capital of Honduras, and we do so with a Pavement Maintenance Team of less than 80 fulltime employees. Most of us are also residents of St. Peterburg, so we take pride in knowing our work serves to improve the lives of our friends, families, neighbors, and communities.
We're proud of what we do, but we simply can't be everywhere at all times. We do have regularly scheduled maintenance which allows us to be proactive in the upkeep of certain areas, but in others we rely on Citizens like yourselves to be our eyes and ears in the community. We're more than happy to address your individual concerns in a mature and professional manner. Again, thank you all.
