Actually, it is not the the police's fault. I blame it solely on the court system and the laws of the land. The police and jails can only do so much if the laws and courts won't back them up. Even if they were caught, they might not get to visit the jail. They might get probation etc. It is like that all across Canada.
I have to admit, canings look like a good idea sometimes............

The key sentence in your complaint is "RCMP AND CITY POLICE NEED TO TAKE THERE CITY BACK???? ". It isn't the RCMP nor the City Police's city. Its the residents city and the residents make the city safe or allow it to be unsafe together.

You are quite incorrect. YOU need to take your city back! We all need to take our city back. Your rant above indicates that citizens are full of fear. It is fear that will rule over the city and allow more of this to happen if positive people do not make a stand. This stand is done through positive use of the city and positive attitude. If we allow fear and anger to rule, nothing will ever change.

Telling people to move won't solve the problems our city has, namely crime. If everyone who was ashamed of this city were to move, it would become an empty place indeed. Rather than demeaning victims of crime, wouldn't it be more civic-minded to offer a solution?

let the rcmp handle the policing in prince albert and within a year you will see a change on the streets.these street people would not know what hit them they would all be in jail none of this catch and release bull that is going on in our city.

The city really needs to put in place and enforce a curfew for 16 and under. mi guessing most of these ****bags are around that age. Also a slap on the wrist for breaking wont do either!! id reather pay taxes to imprison these kind of people than having to keep paying for the repairs of their dammage.

it is the PRESENCE of the Police that deters crime, and it takes a lot of them as the THUG gets to choose the time/place.

I think we have enough police AND the right kind, we just need to get them to do their jobs. Write your Mayor and Councellor and INSTUCT them to Direct the Police to do their Jobs! The USUAL Police response of "That is what insurance is for" is not longer cutting it!

rcmp will put these guys in jail without playing the same games our city police have become use to dealing with everyday bring the rcmp in and they will clean house.

They laugh at most people. The police are powerless. City and RCMP. The legal system DOES NOT BACK THEM UP. The police can only do so much if the perps never have anything happen to them

Ever see the movie with woody Harrelson n Wesley Snipes, where they bait ppl in a subway stop station? I think something like this would do wonders in prince Albert, strolling the river bank or walking through the west flat or midtown town area, the bait wouldn't even have to apeer intoxicated, as long as u got ur cellphone and maybe a couple $ jingling in your pocket, ur sure to get a bite, its the friendly ppl who get stabbed around here, why is that??
