Talked with harley Swartout he said that the light has been out for very long time. Seems to be a problem with the underground electricity. Would do anything he could to help us get repaired.

Lights still broken

On May 27 2016 call Minnesota power and talk to Nancy at 722-2625 she said she would call me on Tuesday

Called Minnesota power again for a second time they said they're having a hard time locating the light.
I gave them gps coordinates longitude and latitude. If you put in the street address into Google maps and look at the street view the light is very evident in front of the Salvation Army building.
The lady on the phone with Minnesota powder refuse to look at the detailed information in this app.
They asked me to go out and look at the light pole and see if there was any numbers on I went and look at the Pole and there's no evidence of any numbers.

This issue is in other places. As reported by other people. Just wondering if it's gotten too cold to pull the wires. I thought the ground doesn't freeze in that the temperature after a certain point made 55°. Wondering if Minnesota power has this on their schedule.

there are 5000 lights in city

on January 21 a man was shot in Duluth near first Street.
This broken street light is out near first Street. In just 60 days it wiill be the over a year that This light has been reported broken. Hoping the spring that this light will be fixed along with the other three or four led Intersection lights that are broken on First street of the same type.

I love going to the Y such a good place. The the YMCA doest many great things for the community. Can't we support the Y by making the lights in the area work. Making it more pleasant to come early in the morning so that you can get your exercising before work could benefit many.
In Duluth we have to put up with a lot of darkness ice and cold weather.
Fixing this light would benefit many. I think it should be one of the 5000 lights that takes priority.
