This issue has been raised multiple times on see click fix and generated a diverse set of responses from commenters. The Bike Path intersections were studied in preparation for the reconstruction of the path. The funding for all signage upgrades is embedded in the reconstruction funding, however, short term the BPRW (park dept.) have made some improvements. In addition, BPRW pushes out social media notices regarding park rules and ordinances, of which Bike Path rules and etiquette are a part of- and we regularly correspond with Police (who enforce all laws and ordinances) about reported infractions from the public.

More signage would start to block the views... just kidding - anything we can do to make our cyclists follow the rules must be encouraged. I watched a (good) dad riding no hands past a stop sign right into a moving car. He crumbled to the ground (after ambulance and fire truck came he was sent up to the ER for checking out)... but the sight of him folding was enough to scare my grandchildren and me into a lifetime of helmets and stop signs.... maybe we can work with Parks and Rec to get some public service footage out there. Signs might help but they need to be dramatic!! thanks for the opportunity to share....

The intersection signage and crossings will be improved in upcoming work for the path rehabilitation. Stop signs are in place and are the size dictated by statute.

The intersection improvements and signage were updated as part of path improvements this summer. All regulatory signage is installed per state statutes. This issue of enforcement has been sent to Police Dept to help enforce.
