Description

I would like to know why, after paying taxes in PP for 35 yrs, I cannot enjoy my home because I have to listen to a machine manufacturing shop in the back yard of this address. I have endured this high pitched screeching, all day 'dentist drill' manufacturing and complained for FOUR YEARS and nothing is ever done. These are the things that I cannot do in my house anymore: open my windows, talk on the phone, listen to TV, enjoy a good book, sit outside, entertain company. I've tried every avenue for 4 yrs. to alert PP code & quell this all day metal manufacturing noise. I just hope he's not assembling firearms. NOT HAPPY! I am so fed up with inaction that I may have to do what the PP officer suggested, waste the resources of PP & call the PP Police as a noise complaint. Please do something!
UPDATE: This person has installed large lighting in the back yard and continues to work his loud machines now AT NIGHT! Now we have to listen to loud screeching metal machine shop noise at night, at what lengths does this person go to continue his manufacturing business at the expense of his neighbors? This is not an industrial area. It's like listening to a dentist's drill for hours. Then, try to sleep. Please help.

OK, this person puts in a 8+ hour day pounding, sawing, grinding manufacturing in his back yard at the expense of his neighbors peace & quiet. He started at 7:30 this morning. Not looking forward to another 8 hours of noise today & you can't 'verify'?

Code Officer JD Rodriguez addressed this issue on Dec. 16, 2016, at approx. 2:30pm & did not hear any noise issues. If the Code Officer does not witness or hear any construction/work/noise issues, they are not able to move forward with a complaint. As stated above, when this occurs in the future. please contact the Pembroke Pines Police Department at (954)431-2200 to have a Police Officer dispatched to write a report that can be forwarded to Code Compliance or you may complete an Affidavit (Obtained from our office) that will be submitted for the Code case as evidence. Ok. They have been relatively quite over the holidays but now back to work starting 7 am this morning. Pounding, sawing, grinding..with the occasional hydrolic pressured sound. I do have some some small recordings but today may be a good day to 'verify'

It's amazing that the rest of the neighbors living around this address aren't reporting this every day. Maybe the code compliance officers need to visit and communicate with surrounding neighbors. Not everyone in Pembroke Pines is on seeclickfix yet or may even use computers.

It was quiet for a while but now they are back to a full 6-8 hr work day of loud drilling, power sawing, screeching, pounding & grinding. Starts between 7-8 AM every morning. No quiet in our neighborhood. This is a residential area! Please fix!

This 'worker' is still working, but at an acceptable level for a residential area. We have had some nice, quiet days, thank you. However, I want to leave this open in case the drilling, sawing, & pounding escalates.
