The people who live upstairs at 959 53rd Street are chronic dumpers on 53rd and on Lowell. Currently, the fridge at 53rd and Lowell is theirs-we watched them bring it down the stairs and to the corner. They regularly dump out onto Lowell street and have their friends dump along the street, too. It is an ever-changing mix of about 12 tenants who live in that one apartment, some stay for a few nights, some for a few weeks, and then they dump their stuff out on the sidewalks when they leave. They have an affiliated group who live in cars and vans, as well, who also dump regularly on Lowell. All the local neighbors know and have seen this happen multiple times. The slumlord there does nothing, despite being made aware multiple times. Please fine the slumlord-they need to take responsibility as their lazy ownership is source of the dumping on Lowell. Landlord is the son of Ms. Brown, and can be reached at 510-223-2999. Please stop the widespread dumping and drugging/prostetution & squatting atone of the key sources by making landlord hold their tenants accountable. Landlord is well aware and many neighbors have complained to him and to the authorities but it just goes on and on...
