Description

The pedestrian bridge repairs happening on the Hagadorn Rd. bridge over the Red Cedar has no safe accommodations for pedestrians needing to travel on the west side of Hagadorn Rd. There's no safe E-W crossing further south across Hagadorn and there's no safe accommodation for all the unsuspecting campus river trail users that come out to Hagadorn just south of the ped bridge. The temp. cement barriers that are blocking the west-most south-bound lane on Hagadorn Rd. taper over very close to the curb on the north side of the bridge and orange barrels are placed between those barriers and the curb to apparently prevent peds from attempting to use that as a safe way to get around the construction. Very dangerous situation that should be remedied ASAP before some pedestrians get hit walking in Hagadorn Rd.
