Description
Another very popular off-road pathway, an extension of the Lansing River Trail, has been blocked off for pedestrian and bicyclists the past week or more with no safe accommodations provided for pathway users to get around the mess. Casual observations when passing by shows that people (some pushing babies in strollers) are walking out into the roadway and climbing down the embankment to get back to the River Trail. Photos show that the pathway is completely usable; it's unclear why, especially over the evenings and weekends why the pathway can't be reopened for the hundreds of people who use this pathway.
