On the blind side of this hill in the north-bound lane is a large section of really bad asphalt that for some reason keeps getting skipped over by the repair crew that has fixed many other potholes on S. Van Atta Rd. this spring and other years. This is particularly dangerous as drivers and bicyclists have to swerve into the opposing lane to avoid hitting the bad section which as you can imagine is dangerous when doing so on a blind hill.
