This is a recurrent problem at this address. This property usually has 5-6 vehicles which makes me question the number of occupants. They are park illegally on the street, leave out overflowing trash containers, and sometimes run over their own trash cans trying to park (and don't bother to pick up the can or spilled trash).
Thank you for taking time to report this issue. An Officer for this area will investigate. Please know parking in the grass is prohibited, however, the Code Officer has to observe the violation in order to address it. The surface where vehicles are parked must be free and clear of vegetation and at least half of the vehicle must be parked on an unapproved surface. If parking in the yard or general parking issues happen after 5:00pm on weekdays or any time on weekends, please call the CSPD non-emergency number at 979.764.3600 and an officer will be dispatched to investigate the issue.
We will post updates here as they become available.
Thank you for reporting this your neighbors appreciate it......
I have reported many parking issues mostly them being parking in the wrong direction.
To get the best results call the police department at 764-3600 and the dispatcher will send an officer out at that time and the person will be warned or ticketed.Probably warned the first time but they know at that point not to do it and it usually stops the problem. If it happens again call and they will be ticketed. Have the dispatcher tell the officer on the call to contact you and they will and at that point you can explain it to that officer.
This is a very hard problem to resolve through the code department, as with most of the issues we bring up to them
