I have not seen this many potholes since I was in Utica! Teach our public works Department how to(and when) to fill potholes.For what I pay in taxes, I also pay to have my vehicles fixed.What a scam!

Fixing potholes right now would be a waste of taxpayers money, as they would have to be fixed again in 3 weeks. DPW knows that you wait until spring to fix potholes....

Might be cheaper to fill the pot holes every three weeks instead of having to pay the repair bills for all the cars they ruined

I'm sorry, but it is not a waste of money to make the roads in the city passable. Luckily the HUGE potholes I've hit haven't caused damage but it is unacceptable to leave the roads like this till spring. It's the same flawed mentality as "we wait to plow AFTER it's done snowing."

Still waiting. Maiden lane needs to be totally repaved but I doubt it's on the particular alderman/alderwomans list of things that need to be done. (unless you drive over that road every day and had to fix the front end of two cars.)
