City of Jersey City PLUS

There has to be a stop sign on Baldwin ave right in front of 333 Baldwin ave. There has been many times in which cars go over the speed limit in that zone and it’s almost impossible for pedestrians to cross because no one stops although they should. There has been multiple accidents that have almost occurred and 1 that has occurred within the last week. There are stop signs on Washburn st but none on Baldwin ave.

The resident said that this area of Summit Avenue has cars speeding along with loud mufflers, especially at night. He is requesting a study be done so that maybe a light or other signs can be placed to slow down the traffic. He fears a pedestrian will get killed.

The intersection of Harrison ave and west side ave needs a traffic light. The poles they had put less than a year ago are gone and drivers do not respect stop signs

This intersection is crazy busy and dangerous. We could REALLY use a street/stop light.

We desperately need a traffic light at St Pauls and Central Ave the traffic onto Central Ave gets backed up by buses, and the school #6, 7 all around causing students to rush through Central Ave very unsafe

The constituent states this intersection is very dangerous. He stated it is difficult to see oncoming traffic when making either a left (to got to JC) or a right (to got to Bayonne)

What is the purpose of the crosswalk at Palisade/Prospect? Cars never stop, it's life-threatening trying to even cross the street on the crosswalk. The city could make thousands of dollars every day writing tickets to all those drivers there who are clearly not following they law by not stopping for pedestrians. Please put a stop sign there or even better, traffic signals.

Baldwin and Laidlaw intersection is very dangerous and there are accidents all the time. This past friday there was a major accident an a school bus rammed into Aleida's beauty salon, this is not the first accident here, ever other day there is an accident, I myself was involved in an accident and my car was totaled. Its about time City installs traffic light here.

a stop sign should be added at this T intersection because anyone on high street can not see traffic at this T intersection... should be a 3 way stop sign or a traffic light here

Resident said that there have been numerous accidents on the corner of Bergen Avenue and Woodlawn Avenue. He said that just this morning there was an accident involving a senior bus and a car reeking with marijuana and that there were injuries to the seniors.

This is a 2 part issue.
1. Not sure which entity is responsible for this but there is some sort of telephone box that has fallen off the utility pole and is now dangling above the back yard. The number on the utility pole is “586”

2. This may be due to the overgrown tree in the neighbor’s yard. The tree needs to be trimmed/cut down.
