    A city employee cut this tree down this morning. It was just left, inhibiting safe travel on the sidewalk. Also, the stump was not properly dealt with. We did not ask for this tree to be cut down— it was leaning and we intended to fix it— but since it’s in the swale, I imagine that’s why it was cut. Unfortunately, leaving it like this is a hazard. We won’t be able to take care of it without it possibly being a risk. I would hate for one of us to get hurt trying to deal with the unprofessionalism of leaving the tree “as is” with no notification or conversation taking place.

    Tree that fell from hurricane Ian on a vacant lot is hanging into the road way making it impossible for two cars to pass at the same time. This tree is after a bend in the road. Have been coming down the street and almost hit another car because you have to go around it.

    There are overgrown trees/etc over the sidewalk along here where kids use the sidewalk to walk to Cranberry Elementary.

    Also one of the signs that tells drivers there are children crossing is knocked over.

    Can the city please do something about the SUV activity in the neighborhood. All week and weekend, all day and night, they were driving up and down the road, riding on city property and on several pieces of private property in the area that is undeveloped. The police have been contacted, but as soon as they show up, the people riding magically disappear, or if by some miracle the police catch someone, they will talk to them and then leave, and guess what, they are back at it again, riding back and forth. It isn't just adults, there are a lot of young children riding around. Last I checked it was illegal for ATVers to ride on the roads close to homes, but for underage children to be riding around? I am pretty sure that is illegal as well not to mention very dangerous. It is exhausting trying to get someone to do anything. The cops can only patrol an area for so long. They don't have the capacity to just sit here all day. Regardless, they aren't doing anything to discourage it, other then just telling them to go home. Honestly, why make it an illegal activity then ignore it and not try and do anything or have any consequences for the activity. No signage, no fencing, nothing. Before I get a bunch of comments about how we should just let everyone have their fun or move out if we don't like it, remember this is an ILLEGAL activity for a reason. The city really needs to deal with this because it is becoming increasingly worse. This area is being treated like an ATV park, property is being destroyed and they are just a general nuisance. If a property owner in the area doesn't mind them riding around, by all means, give the ATVers your address so they can go and ride by you and leave us alone!
