  • Summit St & Allen Pl Hartford, CT, 06106, USA - Frog Hollow
Massive group of potholes at top of allen place and continuing onto summit street. Cars must drive in opposite lane to pass
  • 16-22 Farmington Ave Hartford, CT, 06105, USA - Asylum Hill
Traveling east bound in the right lane just before the traffic signal at Farmington and Broad next to the Bus Stop sign there is a giant pothole.
  • Reverend Moody Overpass Hartford , Connecticut - North Meadows
I was driving by the over pass and tried to avoid the pothole and could not and busted both my front and rear tires. Both of my rims are bent due to this issue. This is not right at all and something needs to be done about these pot holes in the street. They are everywhere I went over on on Maple Ave and Farmington Ave that messed my tires up as well.
  • Charter Oak And Willys Hartford, Connecticut - Sheldon Charter Oak

This is a very wide intersection with long pedestrian crossing distances. Cars traveling on Columbus and Willys speed around blind corners. It's not unusual for cars to completely ignore the red light.

Sneckdowns appeared during the last snowstorm, showing the entire width of the intersection is not used and does not impede traffic. This intersection could be improved by adding curb extensions that reduce pedestrian crossing distances and provide a traffic calming effect. Crosswalks need to be re-striped and would be great candidate for public art to raise visibility.

  • 330 Main St Hartford, CT 06106, USA - Hartford
Main and Charter Oak has long pedestrian crossing distances. The southeast corner could be narrowed significantly. Creative opportunity could be an on-street park with planters and paint as traffic calming measure. Increases pedestrian safety and decreases vehicle speed.
  • 37 Alden Street Hartford, Connecticut - South Green
The large parking lot outside of the alden estates has turned into a late night cesspool of drugs, drinking, and loud arguments and music all hours of the night, and while calls have been made many times to the hartford pad, these complaints fall on defense ears as they are often ignored and only ever dealt with after multiple complaints are made.
  • 300 Windsor Street Hartford, Connecticut - Downtown
Most of the Windsor Street lights from Dunkiin Donuts Park, north to the railroad overpass are out.
  • 176 Warrenton Ave Hartford, CT, 06105, USA - West End
Whole row of potholes between Prospect and Beacon Street needs to be filled.
  • Trumbull And Asylum Hartford, Connecticut - Downtown

Lots of un-used space here. This is a perfect example where the curb could be extended to tighten turning radius and reduce vehicle speed when entering the intersection. This would cause drivers to pay closer attention to pedestrians, and cross the crosswalk at a right angle, increasing pedestrian safety.

Great place for a tactical urbanist project that adds paint and flexposts as a temporary measure to achieve the same effect, before budget can be found to make it permanent.

  • 176 Warrenton Ave Hartford, CT, 06105, USA - West End
  • 35-69 Stone St Hartford, CT, 06106, USA - Behind The Rocks
    Very bumpy road with holes.
  • 150 Homestead Ave Hartford, Connecticut - Upper Albany

I reside on homestead Ave. And the residents of 150 homestead Ave hold drag races up and down the street all day long. They have also modified their cars extra Lou's and whenever they peel out it's impossible to hear. Also waking my toddler up from naps in the day, and up when she's sleeping at night.

This has been an ongoing issue for over a year. While it doesn't rise to the level of calling 911, I feel there's no other solution to this problem.
