vacant house has been a nuisance with thieves. The house has been broken into over 12 times since beginning of March. there has been activity the last few nights. Thieves have now pried the boards off door to access the house. And broke the front window last night. not sure if there is a squatter now. The city needs to contact probate laywer or inheriter to secure the house better. the police has their contact information. maybe a fence needs to go up all around? also the lawn is going to start getting over grown, can the city mow the grass?

Property has appliances & trash sitting in the front yard for too too . Property is a mess causing rats and raccoons in the nearby homes The home owners need to clean up the property before infestations grow even more! They need to be fined as this keeps happening over and over again oelong

It seems that this residence is being used as some sort of construction type business? I'm not sure if there is a permit for this, but the loud daily activity does not feel in line with residential use Also, now the entire front yard has been transitioned to gravel and parking of business vehicles, which I don't believe is allowed under current city code

Notice that this house is allow to park on dirt or partially grass and have construction materials store on the side of house in street view. Does city code allow this or is this home zone for such parking? I don’t see any gravel in the parking area. Oil from vehicles can be leaking into the soil and be contaminated the ground. The ground looks like it has soil erosion already. If this allow then gravel should be used as what code states can be done.

Electrical pull box adjacent to the sidewalk, lid is broken and have exposed live wires. They look like 200 amp wires.

Bus stop on south side of 188th has no light. It is dark and unsafe for people and invites bad behavior.

This is just a general post spanning from McMicken Safeway to City Hall ALL down Military road We were told in an online group to report things here so they keep record This has been an ongoing problem for years now but lately it's gotten even worse

SPEEDING!!! Military especially closer to my home has become a speed way for people And the middle turn lane is being used as a passing lane if people don't think you're going fast enough I understand maybe going 5 or even 10 over the limit which is pushing it but cars are going close to 50/60 on this 35 and it's made is SO DANGEROUS for those of us who have to pull out of our driveways Not to mention even with that middle lane NOW we have to worry about people passing one another potentially hitting us I don't know if it's because people are in more of a hurry but the fact that I don't feel safe even getting my mail let alone pulling out of my driveway is ridiculous and I know there are others along this road that feel the same way I know there was speed monitors along the road but those are gone now I'm not sure if even putting up a sign saying NO PASSING in the middle lane would help but something seriously needs to be figured out for the safety of the residents that live along Military

The Chevron owner has hired some people to take out the curb on the north side of his property that is on 157th Pl.. he now is having them put up a fence on the sidewalk area. He also is having a put in the southside. This area is zoned wetlands..

    Hello,

I work at the newly opened DSHS facility Olympic Heritage Behavioral Hospital at 12844 Military Rd. S Tukwila, WA 98168.

As a public transit user I noticed there is not a crosswalk at the 130th place bus stop in front of our facilty. Crossing the street can be challenging as drivers speed down this road.

Also, would it be possible to add bus shelters? It currently is just a pole. This would help staff and patient visitors access the facility safely via public transit. A curb would be ideal in adding additional pedestrian safety.

Last, can the county install speed awareness signs and possibly do some traffic enforcement in the area in front of the Hospital? Drivers speeding down the roads, with no curb or sidewalk and unprotected bus stops seems dangerous to me.

Thanks for reading and hopefully we can get some infrastructure in place to encourage my colleagues to use public transit to get to work.

    Sincerely,

    Scott Reardon
