    Due to safety concerns in our neighborhood, (auto thefts & pedestrian falls) we have a concern relating to the lack of street lighting in our neighborhood. We have many senior citizens here in the Meadowbrook Complex and would like to request more street lighting if possible? The areas of concern are across from 39 Centerbrook Road (Street light was never replaced on new pole after the ice storm of 2017?) and the area near 250 Worth Avenue.

    There are UI Poles in both of these areas and if more lighting could be provided, it would help with the safety of our residents and also add more security to prevent the incidents that we have encountered?

    For about two months now there is garbage broken glass a dirty diaper bag of dog poop on the grounds of Dunbar Hill school Is this ever going to be picked up In the past the custodian would go out periodically to check the grounds Haven't seen this in a few years Very sad ? ,,,

    In May I reported that Center One property on Colony Street was unkept with overgrown weeds. In the past, this property was kept trimmed and orderly however it is unsightly. Public Works claimed it was due to the "hill" and that drainage was an issue. This was never true in the past and in 40 years I have never seen drainage issues at this site. Now 3 months later, the property has not been touched and the weeds are hanging into the sidewalk making it impassable.
    Can someone trim this town owned property!

  • Grandview Ave Hamden, Connecticut, 06514 - Hamden

    On Grandview Avenue, near the intersection with Blue Hills Avenue, there is a pickup truck which is always parked at a very narrow corner.

    This is creating a traffic hazard as people traveling on Grandview have to move over to avoid the truck and they have no visibility as to oncoming traffic due to the curve and hill.

    Please have the owner of this vehicle park elsewhere, before a serious accident takes place.

    All the pole lights are not working in the Broadmoor apartment complex at 676 Mix Ave Hamden, CT 06514 in front of building 630 for over a year.
    I was told by the office that the city owns the lights and they have made you aware of this issue multiple times.
    I live alone and due to the time change and it gets dark very early leaving it unsafe to go to and from my car because of how dark the parking lot is. Can someone please help me. I have searched the pole and there is no number on the pole to report.

    A tree fell and is weighing down these utility cables along the Farmington Canal behind the Save A Lot plaza in Hamden. This is just past the 2M mark heading north.

    Apartment building with no hot water for 2 days. Zero response from apartment complex management, zero communication. Another building in complex also without hot water. Families are boiling water to bathe their children. This is unacceptable.
