Hi Team - I recently purchased a home in the area and as we were cleaning the backyard, I saw a big dead tree rt. in front of my deck on city property.

It's rotten completely and I am afraid it will fall on my house or hurt my family.

Can you please help me get rid of it promptly? I am attaching a few pictures here.

    Hello,

My name is Allen and I live in 1346 211th Ave NE, Sammamish. My phone number is 425-298-9053. I have two issues I would like to report to City and seek some help here.

#1. Since last year, a construction project has started on the lot next to my home (to the north). And because all those digging and excavation, they damaged the tree root of a maple tree located in my backyard, as a result, the tree is now being assessed as risky and hazardous per an arborist assessment. (quote, "The soil removal from this cut has removed about 45% of its root system, this is a big impact to the tree's health and structure"). The owner of the land and I have had a couple of chats on this situation. I don't mind getting this tree removed as it's now in hazardous condition, but the owner of the land hasn't agreed to cover all the cost associated with the tree removal, which I think they should. I would like to see if City could help come and assess the site and situation and provide a guidance on a path forward to resolve this issue. Please see attached pictures (I can share more if needed)

#2. They are also building a road next to my front yard and driveway. and they are building the pavement and even a drainage within my property line. See the picture of my front yard attached too, anything below the red line is my property. Throughout their build was taking plan since last year, no one has ever asked my approved about this development on my property and I was not even informed. I let them know this concern to the owner and the builder, and they insist that this is according to a city approved blueprint. I am so confused and felt my property right is being violated. So if City can also send someone here and assess the situation, that will be great. thanks so much and I appreciate your help.

There is a large tree (approximately 40') that is dead, it backs up to the greenbelt. Can resident cut down the tree or can the City cut this down? Thank you.

    Hello,

I wanted to report a tree that seems to be steeply leaning towards East Lake Samm road and wanted to alert you. Its base is in a ravine near my home (NE 49th Place). Perhaps someone should come inspect? It's quite a large tree and I don't remember seeing it lean like this.
