Hello. This shutoff valve is on the left side of our driveway, just a little up from the street. We are preparing to replace our 36 year old wood timber retaining walls up the driveway with stone boulders. Our contractor asked that we reach out to the City to cut the valve back lower to the ground so that it is less likely that damage will occur during the retaining wall renovation work. Kindly advise how we proceed. Thanks.

Over the last day a sinkhole has formed in our front yard. It's about 16 in square. Not sure who to contact about this .

When I moved to Edina 8 years ago, I was I impressed by the ability of the city to find non traditional revenue sources such as the Edina liquor. So it is really surprising that the aquatic center concession stand is so underutilized and mismanaged. The conclusion is based on a single fact, it runs out of ice cream on a weekend day at 3 pm.
Yes, I am writing to complain that there was no ice cream and it is an endemic problem. I don’t understand how it is no possible to solve this simple logistic problem. With the current markup in ice cream, it should be easy yo buy a second freezer or to schedule a delivery from a near by Edina public school with a freezer in the middle of the day.
The fact is this is a normal situation and nobody wants to improve is surpassing. The city can really increase the revenue and everybody is happier ice cream.

On Tuesday night we had dark brown sediment coming out of the bathtub. We have been running the water and it is still not clear. It’s not dark brown, but now it’s a yellow brown. I think someone may need to come out and see what is going on. Thanks.

The Edina public schools have posted that fields are closed. There are 6 children playing on the synthetic turf field next to Kaulman Field that has signs the field is closed

New home property up for sale. for over 1 month, there has been about 30 paper leaf bags lined up in the front yard against neighbors fence. they need to be removed. also, water is pooling in the yard in the north east corner of the yard.
