Just wondering if the Control Module property on Brainard Rd has become a truck stop. Multiple times a week there is a truck parked there, usually with a trailer or a large flat bed with product on it. There is a no trespassing sign on the property. I don’t know if the trucks have permission to park there. Even if they do - does it have the right zoning for that?

211 Pearl St Thompsonville, CT, 06082, USA - polytest
At the intersection of Fairview Ave and Pearl St there are hedge rows on either side when approaching the stop sign and crosswalk as you are driving down Fairview from Enfield St. These affect the sight lines in both directions. In order to check Pearl St vehicle, bike & ped traffic, you need to pull forward almost into the street, completely blocking the crosswalk and it's difficult to view any pedestrians or bicyclists entering the walk - mostly from the right side. I recently had a bicyclist storm through the crosswalk assuming that I could see him and I could not until he was speeding through the crosswalk. Now that foliage is increasing, so is the risk. I feel these should be either set back or removed. Thanks for your time and consideration. Dawn (860) 719-3812
