Why were the trees removed around the basin area in front of the car wash? They were a sound and light barrier for the neighborhood Also, why do the lights stay on 24hrs, which are now changing colored light. !

The stretch of CT-191 near Faith Baptist Church under the purview of Enfield police, in the vicinity of Town Farm Road and Fletcher Road, has an enforced, but not posted, speed limit lower than the 45mph signage present both northbound and southbound. If the church requires a lower speed limit around it, it should be posted. That said, it is a fairly rural state road with consistent 45mph speed limits across it's length with clearer sightlines there than most other sections - there's not much reason to lower it given only the road and relatively sparse traffic.

I'm requesting the town enforce posted speed limits and make speed limits explicit to motorists. Failure to do so exposes the town to risks of lawsuits and danger to officers by irate drivers who feel they did nothing wrong. It also adds burden to courts for contested tickets and opens liability to officers for frivolous harassment cases. To put it simply, posting a few signs or enforcing the existing 45mph limits only would be advantageous to the town.

Good Morning, I recently purchased this home in April 2022. 2/7/2023 I had American Pest Solutions come out to the home due to the presence of carpenter ants on the windows of the second story bedroom. The house was inspected prior and was found to not have any carpenter ants originating from our home. It is suspected the ants are crawling along the phone wires connecting to the house, coming from either the telephone pole across the street, the tree branches from the tree on the sidewalk, or possibly any rotting wood across the street (fence or shed). I have since treated my house twice without a resolve to the issue and they suggested our next step be to reach out to the town so that an inspection could be completed since I do not own the telephone pole or the tree on the sidewalk. commercial box truck at 32 Wagon road parked on the side of the road obstructing traffic, kids playing in the street, cars can't see them. truck is used I assume for work, there overnight, gone in the morning, back in the afternoons.
