Persons smoking cannabis in the park.
  • Cardoza Park - Milpitas
Please have police to arrest or shoeing people smoking cigarrettes, vaping at the children playing center. I can identify this man who smokes there approximately between 6:30-8 pm daily. I am afraid lung cancer caused by second hand smoke will affect all the children at the park. Can the city arrest/shoe smoking people at the playing center of the park?

Please ask Environmental inspector that check area around tennis courts as the cigarette butts are adding up.

If I am not mistaken this is a no smoking area but lack of City enforcement has let this legacy issue remain on-going.

At a minimum please have Bright view. pick up this trash.,

While I was standing nearby, a lamp post fell down in Hillcrest Park due to a corroded base. The lamp post is located near the Cascade St. entrance to the park. Please check all lamp posts in Hillcrest Park for corrosion since many small children play in the park daily. If a post were to fall on anyone, it could cause serious injury.

    Dear City Caretakers,

I am reaching out to bring to your attention an important safety concern at Bob Maguire Park. The area of the park depicted in the attached images suffers from inadequate lighting, which poses safety concerns for park-goers around the sunset.

Currently, there is only one light pole in this area, and its effectiveness is significantly reduced by the overhanging trees. In contrast, the side of the park with tennis courts is well-lit, highlighting a disparity in lighting distribution that affects the usability and safety of the park.

To address this issue, I kindly request the installation of additional lights facing towards the park on the poorly lit side. This improvement would greatly enhance safety and make this section of the park more accessible and enjoyable for everyone, especially in the evenings.

Thank you for your attention to this matter and for your ongoing efforts to maintain and improve our community spaces.
