    Hello. I recently moved into the apartments above Knapp’s restaurant and during the recent heat I have realized there is a city cigarette receptacle chained to a bench right below my bedroom window and within 25 of doors and windows. How do I request this to be moved because it has created a smoking area?

    I did a previous 311 request since the bricks are so slippery when wet and has caused people to slip and fall. That request was closed after the city inspected that area and found it was in violation and a notice would be sent to the property owner. It is my understanding that this property is owned and maintaind by the city. Why has this area not been cleaned and pressurewashed to make it safer and less of a biohazard.

    Hi,

    I've been using Seeclickfix to report issues in our neighborhood. It's a great tool. It does seem like some things could be done to improve it.

    I've noticed that the city often closes requests without resolution. There doesn't seem to be any way to reopen them. As an example, I opened this ticket: https://seeclickfix.com/issues/16460596. That was closed without resolution. So, I opened this one https://seeclickfix.com/issues/16588536. Clearly a bunch of duplicate tickets is not ideal. Could you enable the reopening of tickets? Or alternatively check with the person who filed the ticket that it is in fact resolved.

    Somewhat related, I've noticed comments turned off for some tickets. Given the purpose of this platform seems to be to foster community engagement that is counterintuitive to me. Could comments be enabled on all tickets?
