    The old Skippers restaurant on the corner continues to be an awful eyesore to the neighborhood btwn tagging, trash, and general disrepair. Fencing that was there is completely gone now. It's awful to have to look at every single day

    This empty building burned down over a month ago and there has been no removal of the asbestos filled debris and charred remains. I live in the apartment building next door and I can smell burned, toxic odors 24/7. I have even developed a deep cough!!!

    I realize insurance adjusters may need to inspect but we all know the group of squatting, homeless drug addict people that were living inside the abandoned building are the ones who burned it down. IT NEEDS TO BE CLEANED UP!

    Random homeless people and metal scrappers are climbing over the fences and digging for junk. While they are digging they are further spreading more asbestos ashes in the air and throwing things and making the pile seem even more spread out. IT NEEDS TO BE CLEANED UP!

    Someone will get hurt because the whole building has not finished collapsing and that somebody will climb in there looking for treasures and it will collapse on them and they will die. This is a huge public safety issue. IT NEEDS TO BE CLEANED UP!

    ASBESTOS ASBESTOS ASBESTOS. ANY QUESTIONS? IT NEEDS TO BE CLEANED UP!

    And one last thing... if this burned out commercial building was anywhere near a home on American Lake, or near a home in Gig Harbor, or near a home in the North End of Tacoma or near a home down by Point Defiance, etc etc... it would have been cleaned up a long time ago!
    You will not convince me otherwise because I'm from gig harbor...land of the NIMBY!!

    This needs to be seen by the general public because it seems to be "no big deal" to the building owner or code enforcement cuz it's just next to buildings in downtown. AND WE DONT MATTER!

    back entrance to Tacoma Smiles Dentistry, the steps here are garbage, graffiti and cardboard, for sleeping on . evidence of overnight guests. This property owner doesn't seem to care about the safety of the shopping area . neglected area is encouraging drug addicts to camp out there

    There is a dangerous "hole" in the planter strip adjacent to the north side of the road approach to the Safeway FuelFacility . This has been a majorproblem for a long time. Public Works installed large orange traffic barrels in the past as a temporary solution but the barrels are now gone and cars are still losing their undercarriages, bumpers and
    deflector when there wheels enter the deep hole and scrape their underside on the concrete radius return. Very dangerous too! There is such a very simple construction solution Just look to the south side of the road approach where the same issue occurred but Public Works simply laid hot mix asphalt at the radius return to fill in where the wheels of vehicles track into the planter strip. Again such a simple fix and this area actually resides within the street right of way. Please do the right thing and have our awesome Street Crews fill this in with asphalt and be done with it!!!..s

    Jacob macdonald is running a propane generator since 6:20am. He is a schizophrenic man with substance abuse problems and has gathered a number of combustible propane tanks. We would normally ask neighbors to nbw quiet but he can become terrifyingly violent and has multiple steel pipes and bats he carries around. We live in fear of this man and are expecting him to blow that house up.
