Not sure if Pothole is the right word, but the transition of these two roads is very rough on our cars. thanks
  • 83-85 Main St Essex Junction, VT, 05452, USA - Essex Junction (without Essex)
Could you please cut back the vegetation behind the chain link fence at the Drury brook bridge? It's very hard to see to get out of the Town Office driveway without edging too far out into traffic to see what's coming from the north.
  • 43 Pearl St Essex, VT, 05452, USA - Essex Junction (without Essex)
PW took out this knotweed last summer, but it has come back with a vengeance, as it will do. It's at the traffic light signal box at Pearl/So Summit. If property owner's responsibility, I guess it's up to them to recognize what an invasive this plant is. If PW can deal with it, it should be at least cut back before it flowers. Thank you!
  • 45 Lincoln St Essex Junction, Vermont, 05452 - Essex Junction (without Essex)
If PW is going past 45 Lincoln St., could this plant be checked out, please? It may be a benign version of a parsnip, but if it's the 'poison' variety, it needs to be removed. It's right in the grass next to the sidewalk on the north side of Sikora's service center's parking lot.
  • 21 Cascade Ct Essex Junction, VT, 05452, USA - Essex Junction (without Essex)
This vegetation has been overgrown over the sidewalk for awhile now! This is the sidewalk side that is plowed in the winter. You physically cannot stay on the sidewalk due to the overgrowth! Please have public works trim this vegetation since homeowner has not for several years!

The road markings here create a situation that is asking for a head on collision - as a resident of summit street, I often have incidents when approaching from the west. Drivers coming from the east, who want to turn left on South Summit, are using the turning lane designed for the bank, then crossing the double yellow to get into the proper turning lane. I often have drivers honking at me here because they think they are in the right and I am in my proper turning lane. The markings used to be better. Thank you.

Mill St & Park St Essex Junction, VT, 05452, USA - Essex Junction (without Essex)
Can a street light be added to either side of Park Street to better illuminate the entrance to Mill Street? It is especially dark as you enter from the 5 corners direction.

  • SidewalkAnerkannt
West St Essex Junction, Vermont, 05452 - Essex Junction (without Essex)
These images of West Street sidewalks are typical of the entire length of sidewalks along West Street: uneven, poorly paved, and full of pot wholes. These poorly maintained sidewalks are difficult for sight impaired, those with mobility issues and elders to walk without trips and falls.

38 Central St Essex, VT, 05452, USA - Essex Junction (without Essex)
The sidewalk in front of 38 Central right at the corner with North is always filled with a long, deep puddle of water. Or ice in winter. It's generally terrible and everyone walks around the giant puddle and the sides end up turn up and muddy. If this could get fixed when the weather warms up, all the walkers would be very grateful!!
