storm drain clogged w leaves, yesterday the leaves caught fire and the fire department had to respond

Storm drain not draining properly

I know that a lot of effort was just put into fixing the drainage at the corner of Brown Street and Brown Street Ct, but the problem still persists. The catch basin needs to be lowered a couple of inches and the surrounding pavement needs to be sloped towards the basin.

My neighbor at 22 Nichols St. Installed a sump pump I assume and the discharge pipe runs from inside the house to the edge of the sidewalk so whatever discharge water comes out across the sidewalk then down the gutter on the street. This has caused a unsafe ice buildup across my driveway and my neighbors driveway at 18 Nichols St. Is there regulations about sump pump discharge running down a city street just because of this happening? Please help it has created a unsafe situation let alone possible contaminated water running down the street. I have lived here 27 years and have never encountered this problem before

Storm drain between 60 and 58 Appleton appears to have been covered/no longer there. May need to be reopened to assist with drainage during storms

Leafs are blocking the basin. When will we get street sweeping happen again??

I know my neighbor at 4 Emerald has reached out. I’m at 6 Emerald and have reach out to our ward councilor who said to contact the engineer Dave who is no longer there. The water issue is up in front of my home where the water pool as street is flat. I believe a catch basin needs to be installed further up and not in front of 5 Emerald where i noticed marking.
