City of Sandy Springs PLUS

Please visit lots to verify lack of maintenance on two lots and non-maintained demo & silt fences is not a Code violation. Eye sore for sure. Two houses were demolished a year ago lots are for sale. Partially collapsed silt & demo fences, yard debris piles and a few 8’ tall weeds. Would love to know if owner can now remove fences as no construction is taking place.

Over Mother's Day weekend,5308 Northland installed an 8 foot high fence in their backyard which backs up to my frontyard.
It is my understanding there is a 6 ft height limit for backyard fencing?
Is this allowed by Sandy Springs? It resembles an elephant pen. is this legal? Thx.

How did this property get permitted for industrial use? There are storage containers big trucks and lots of trucks in and out of there every day. Also seems to have erected a 9 or 10 ft wood fence around the entire property which I know can't be legal

Violation #1

A rat was seen in my apartment and pest control simply dropped on trap in the closet I suspected the rat entered my dwelling from, and sprayed a couple of spots after asking if I’d like him to treat other areas of the apartment. In my opinion, a professional shouldn’t be asking the tenant what they want done. He’s the professional not me. Since pest control’s visit I’ve discovered rat droppings and holes in food. My neighbor saw a rat this week and the tenant below me has heard rats in the wall. The leasing office has said that they would have pest control treat the entire breezeway but didn’t state that they’d treT the entire building, which is disturbing. This is in building 5.

Violation #2

This complex has valet trash services, however it does not operate during the weekend (Friday & Saturday). Trash accumulates quickly, which may be attracting rodents (see Yelp. There have been recent pics of this)

Weed growing out of gutter system and along the right side of home

This man not only continues drilling but now he’s brought a loud truck up here @12:23 & is drilling at the same time. On a Tuesday night. You’re telling me this is completely legal on residential property????At this time??? No construction all day- but let 10pm hit😡

The below vehicles are classified as Junk/Abandoned vehicles under city ordinance based on reasons cited below. They are currently parked at 6125 Roswell Road in the Retail parking garage across from the leasing office. Both vehicles have been sitting for 6+ months. Per ordinance these are non-complaint even on private property.

tire out front for weeks and grass almost waist high!!

Renters at 8853 moved and discarded their trash on both sides of the road. Trash has been sitting there for a week. Meanwhile the wind is blowing the trash all over the street.

Neighbor is playing music so loudly it can be heard throughout the entire apartment complex
